My wife is very pleased with this kit. She started crocheting about 5 months ago and is great at it, but she gets very disappointed that lots of kits come with thin yarn that she says she cant work with. She NEEDS the thick, beginners yarn and this one comes with it. SOOO much easier than the thin yarn. It comes with a step by step tutorial video that will guide you. The kit includes the yarn, stitch markers, safety eyes, crochet hook and yarn needles and stuffing. They also start it off for you with a prestarted magic ring! Perfect for beginners. Makes an adorable planted tulip with a face.

Disappointed in this kit. While the materials seem fine and all the supplies needed to make the little eggs are included, there are NO instructions. You have to use a QR code to access videos to see how to make them. While the listing does indicate there are instructional videos, I took that to mean there are videos you can watch if you are learning and need a visual to help you with the process. I crochet and handcraft to get away from screens and do not appreciate that they could not put a simple piece of paper in here with instructions, in place of the large card full of instructions for how to find the videos. As a kit of supplies, this is fine, but a kit needs instructions, so this is a big fail in my book.

This is an easy to work project. The kit included everything I need and the yarn feels wonderful. I haven’t figured out how to download the pattern after making a few watching the videos.

Very cute kit for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet. I must agree with a few reviewers...the video is very very slow (hence 4 stars). I've previously tried "The Woobles" kit and they are much easier. This one requires a lot of patience and time as well.

When I opened this kit and saw that there were no written instructions, only video tutorials, I was ready to 1-star this. I hate video-only kits with the red hot passion of 1000 suns. As a left handed crocheter, videos often leave me more confused than written instructions, and I typically only consult them when it comes time to sew up/attach things. Also, when I am crafting, the last thing I want to do is stare at my phone or computer. I want to sit on my couch, curled up in a blanket like the little old lady I aspire to be, while something soothing plays on my tv in the background.BUT, my daughter desperately wanted this little plant, so I couldn't just refuse to make it in protest of the form of instruction. Instead, I took the time to go through the videos and write down the instructions. After doing that, this kit largely redeemed itself. The videos are actually pretty good if you are just learning, but they are long (which is additionally frustrating for someone like myself who doesn't want/need them).The yarn is a woobles-type smooth yarn that is easier to work with than a standard worsted. It works up quickly thanks to the bulk of the yarn and a 4 mm hook size (as opposed to the 2.5 mm that I'm working most of my amigurumi with). I finished one flower pot toy within a day. There was actually enough of all the materials that I was able to make two whole plants (using an extra set of safety eyes from my own stash). I completed two whole toys with yarn to spare on all of the colors except for the brown/soil - so they definitely don't skimp on materials.The end result is super adorable, but I just can't give it 5 stars without some written instructions. That the kit was able to overcome my rage and win me over does say a lot for it. If you don't mind video instructions, don't hesitate to get this as it is a great kit otherwise!

I've been trying a few different crochet amigurumi kits lately, and this is a pretty good one, especially when compared to the much higher priced name brand kits. I like the yarn included in this kit very much. It's the easy to use, easy to see kind, but seems softer than the big name yarn, and also when cut, doesn't have an ugly filling like some other such yarns have. The video instructions online for making the potted plant were mostly very clear. They went at a good speed, not too fast or slow, and included onscreen the written pattern, which I liked, as I do read patterns. I did find they had an issue a lot of instructions for beginners have---they were very detailed about the easier parts, like basic stitches, but much more vague with more complicated parts, including having no spoken instruction at all for embroidering the mouth. Also, the eyes included had no backings---they weren't the safety eye types, and no matter what I did, they kept falling out, so I went eyeless with this.Overall, I would say this kit is certainly worth the money. The potted flower I made with it was the nicest amigurumi I've made so far---not perfect, but better than others I've tried, and something I will like displaying.

This is a nice beginner's kit if you are new to crochet and want to learn how to do it with a simple project. It comes with everything you need: a crochet, the coloured yarn, and accessories you need for the particular project and two tapestry plastic needles. The guide to make your piece is accessible on the internet but the website is not the best out there so that was a problem. Also if you are somewhere where you don't have your phone, you can't go on with your project if you need guidance, so a little booklet would have been appreciated. That said, I didn't like the colours that came with the project. But I am happy I could easily learn how to crochet.

I liked this product. I’ve tried many of these kits and this one has some advantages over others, but also so disadvantages.Pros: like Woobles, it comes with some of the magic rings already started for you, which can be a hard thing to figure out as a beginner. It uses t-shirt style yarn that is pretty easy to work with.Cons: It doesn’t come with any written down version of the pattern, it’s all online and I didn’t find their website very easy to use in my phone. It didn’t work with safari and I had to use Crome, then it formatted weirdly. And some things are written out, but some instructions are ONLY found by watching the videos, which I found to be annoying.Overall: it’s super cute, but even as a person more experienced in crochet, I found it a bit difficult at times and I’m not 100% satisfied with my final creation.

I really liked this beginner crochet kit! The colors are bright and just like the pictures, and the yarn feels super soft and cozy. It comes with everything u need so you don’t have to worry about buying extra tools. The packaging is also really nice cute and simple, without a bunch of unnecessary plastic. it’s a great kit and I think I might buy another one to match it

This kit is comprehensive and adorable. The online instructions aren't as beginner friendly. The instructor shows a blue yarn for the first step and we have a part started and I am confused on what to do first. It would have been better for the instructor to start with what the customer is given as a starting place. I have a couple cousins that crochet that I might get them to show me a few things before reattempting this kit.
