They meet stringent ASME B107.24 and B107.36 standards, as applicable, including standards for strength and maximum jaw capacity. All Crescent locking pliers have a cushion grip trigger release for easier opening and large hex key recess for additional leverage when tightening. The head and body also have a narrow profile necessary for work in tight and confined spaces.

Super price for this set..but package was damaged and had obviously been opened. The largest tool was actually loose in bag.Having said that, I love the set. Great quality exactly what I expect from the brand. Easy to use. Variety of tools makes it easy to use one of the various choices. Really like the grip and release mechanism.

First set I've ever purchased and I have a lot of other tools. Felt it was time to get a set and while these were a little more expensive than off brands, I'm expecting these to last a lifetime. We'll see how they stand the test of time, but we all know what happens when we are working on something with cheap tools. They were tightly constructed and had a smooth feel adjusting, locking and releasing. I recommend this product.

A good selection of sizes that should cover most use cases. Compared to a pair of OG Vice Grips the size, shape and construction are almost identical. The addition of the Allen head on the adjustment knob is a good upgrade.

The jaws don't line up and everything is loose! The finish is also not even across the tools. Not worth it.
