Did what it said on the tin. exactly what I needed probably does far more than my abilities

For the price, I think it's an excellent deal. Coming from a much older meter, the auto-ranging is taking some getting used to, but you can always override it if you want. A feature I'm liking a lot more than I expected is the temperature probe. The temp probe recently allowed me to diagnose a malfunctioning oven (and the wonky analog oven thermometer that was leading us astray). I also love that it uses AA batteries instead of the 9 volt batteries many meters still use. My one and only gripe would have to be that the tip of the temperature probe isn't as durable as it should be. The wire itself has held up perfectly, but the tip had a small spot that appeared melted after a single use. It still works, so I'm not knocking a star off for this, but you'll want to keep an eye on this if you get one of these meters.

My old multimeter finally bit the dust so I did some research to decide on a replacement tester and this one was the one I chose.I chose this one for its functionality, ease of use and for its value. I don’t need a highly technical tester, I just need one which does normal testing such as AC and DC voltage, OHMS, amperage, continuity, etc. This tester does all of this and much more. My old tester did not have the clamp feature that this tester has and this was another reason for selecting this one.This tester is easily handheld and comes with all of the probes and accessories needed to use all of its functions. It has an included, nice storage pouch to keep everything organized and handy.The tester has all of the features needed for normal usage as well as some more technical aspects. For the price, it is an exceptional value and will be a great addition or upgrade to your tool box.

Verified accuracy and this unit is within the claimed specs for tests I have performed so far. Amperage in spec, voltage spot on, temperature within spec and it does AC as well as DC inrush which makes this a real value for the price range!Also used with AC Line Splitter to verify readings on a portable power station that I use and it was right on.Well done and I hope to try other products from this manufacturer as they seem to be an exceptional value!
