This part requires you to already have a magnetic sticker on your bed, but otherwise it fits and works great!

This is good bed. It’s spring steel so it’s much easier to pop pieces off. It’s got two sides to maximize the best material for adhesion of a number of filaments. It’s magnetic, meaning it will stick to a magnet, but it is not a magnet itself. If your bed isn’t magnetic you’ll need clips to hold this in place. One downside to spring steel plates like this is that they aren’t as flat as other types, especially over time. I also prefer to relevel the bed any time I take the plate off. The difference is around .3mm which is not that much of a problem but I try to get my bed to a difference under .2mm. If you are leveling manually, the frequency of leveling could be annoying. For $10 it’s a great price

Works great as a replacement build plate and the additional print side while a novelty does in fact transfer to prints. I'm not sure how long the novelty side will last but I'm careful to let the prints cool before removing and I clean it after every use with isopropyl.

I have used this for both PETG and PLA on my Ender 3 printer. I have printed on a number of different surfaces from the original magnetic flexible bed, to tempered glass, smooth, and textured PEI. My printer is setup w/ a BLTouch and the bed is fairly level. So I nearly always get a good first layer.I started w/ PETG, and that was a near fatal mistake. While the large printed parts came off, the nozzle prime line & skirt were incredibly firmly adhered to the print surface. I was able to use my fingernail to scrape up most of it, but for some sections I had to resort to using an exacto blade to gently pry up the remaining pieces. I would not recommend using this for PETG unless you are only printly solid objects. Any thin pieces of plastic might end up permanently stuck to the print surface.I moved onto PLA and it also sticks fantastically well to the print surface. Thin lines & layers of plastic take some work to get off, but I have been able to pop them off by gently prying at them with my fingernails. The flexible spring steel base is pretty thin. If you are printing outside of an enclosure where warping might be a concern, I could see the spring steel potentially lifting off the build surface.I am guessing it is because of the K1 compatibility, but the notches on the back of the build plate cut into the printable area on my Ender 3.As a final observation, the packaging for the build plate oddly lists the dimensions of the box it comes in, which is larger than the build area for the Ender 3, and then printed on the build plate itself is a different dimension which is _smaller_ than the build plates actual dimensions... very odd.

I was having issues with my stock build plate, it got to the point where nothing was sticking to it, even after washing it with dish soap, and using IPA. Thought I would try this one, and I must say I'm very pleased with it. So far, any PLA or PETG I put on it has stuck well and release easy after the plate has cooled down.It fit my Ender 3 with no issues. If you need a new build plate, I can recommend this one.

You know what you're getting. It is impossible to clean, gets worn down quickly. But works for a short time

I mostly print with PETG, and when left for too long, it stuck too well and destroyed my magnetic build plate. This one has been a great replacement, it sticks well to the magnetic base I already have installed, and is the perfect size for the base model Ender 3 that I have. I mostly use the PEI side, which allows prints to stick well but they're still easy to pop off once a print is complete. I can't for the life of me get anything to stick well to the PEY side, but I'm sure that's more an issue with my settings than an issue with the plate. This plate is strong yet flexible enough to bend to pop prints off, and the small extra bit at one edge gives a place to lift from to pull it off the magnetic base. Overall, much much better than the standard build plate or even the regular Creality magnetic plate.
