It is an excellent replacement for the original build plate. It has good adhesion and fits perfectly on my Ender 3 S1. The cuts on the back help align the plate more quickly than the original.

I really like this plate. But don't just throw it on your Ender 3 S1. There's already a magnet stuck to the aluminum build plate. Separate the new plate from the adhesive backed magnet! Don't forget to level the bed. Warning: PLA doesn't want to stick to this plate. PETG is fine.

I would not be without a gold PEI build plate. I can now just print, and get good first layer adhesion without glue or anything else. When the plate cools, the print fully releases on it's own and you can just pick it up. Bed leveling and z-offset settings are critical here for it to work properly, and different filament types require a change in z-offset along with the correct filament and bed temperatures. There is always learning curve and trial and error when changing anything on a printer. But once you figure it out, it's perfect every time.

I was having problems with the bed that came with my printer. It seemed the prints would not stick to the bed. I added glue and other things to get a better bond but no luck.After replacing the bed with this the prints stick to the bed with no problems. I actually have to let the bed cool down some to be able to get the print off. I am fairly new to 3 d printing but this solved a very annoying problem for me. It does require cleaning with alcohol every so often but it’s not an issue. As with everything there is always maintenance required from time to time.I have an Ender -3 V3 SE printer and it fits perfectly. Recommended!

These build plates are steller. Instead of the cheap black overlay (I've gone through 3 of them in 6 months) these build plates have a courseness built into them so it's one solid piece. All my prints stick without any glue or hairspray and pop right off when cooled. I bought 2 but honestly I don't think I'll need the second one for quite a while. The only thing I could complain about is my original build plate ( Ender 3 s1) had 2 cut outs on the back so it would fit around the heat bed screws. These did not have that. I took my dremal tool and made them myself in like 5 minutes. I took 1 start off for ease of installation.
