It did its intended job marvelously. You need a 14mm wrench to operate it. I could pry free the crank arm of an old road bike that was holding on very tightly to the spindle.

This tool literally pulled all of the threads out of the crank and broke almost simultaneously. Total junk!

This is one of those tools you'll almost never use or need but when you do there is no substitute. I had to replace a crank arm on my bike which would have been impossible without this tool. I'm glad it wasn't too expensive. Now it just sits in a box, hopefully I'll never need it again.

If you have a few bikes you need to work on it is fine. But in my case I have 5 exercise bikes that I need to maintain. This is not a commercial quality item. The pinto deformed causing the little tip that comes off to get jammed.If you're looking for something as a hobby piece you use a couple times. Sure but not for shop dutyI managed to pull apart three crank sets before it was basically unusable.

To remove the pedal arm this tool is required. I have found that not all pullers are case harden. As my last puller a different brand had destroyed the center bolt.
