One handed operation, clean, ensures you engage evenly with the cassette—excellent tool. Technically puts higher load on fewer teeth but I am pretty certain that this is not going to cause any damage. No more thinking about which way the chain whip needs to be wrapped—lol

My husband got these to work on his bikes. He says they work like he expected and make the job easier. Thats a good review from a many of few words.

Very easy to use, probably more so than the other Park Tools cassette pliers. Just align onto the cassette teeth, squeeze, and then do your thing with your other hand/wrench.

so much easier than a chain whip and highly recommended over a chain whip.

Nice alternate to a chain whip. I needed this new tool with the new 12 speed cassette. My old chain whip was for 9 speed!Sturdy, easy to use. Perfect for 12speed

Genius tool! These are light years better than a standard chain whip! They're easy, sturdy and good for beginners. Save yourself a trip to the bike shop and a service fee. I don't know why I didn't get these sooner!

I’ve bashed my knuckles up enough with a chain whip, and heard high marks on these new tools for maintaining your cassette. Some of the other cheaper ones that are under $15-$20 only fit a 10 or 11 speed, and spacing is tight for a 12 speed. This tool allows you to grip both sides of the cassette to maintain a firm grip and avoid damage to drivetrain. Some of the cheaper ones require you to put directional force on for it to tighten around the cassette. Glad I spent the extra money for the park tool.

Super easy to use, just make sure you’re lined up on the right cog and clamp down. No more fiddling with a chain whip. The metal is super thick and solid. Looks like a tank could roll over them and they’d be fine. The handle is very comfortable and non-slip. The only thing I would change if I could would be to add an adjustment feature kinda like channel locks have. Although, as long as you are using it on one of the first 4-5 cogs it isn’t uncomfortable at all.
