We brought the unit last summer when our central air went out in Florida. It was a game changer. The front area is a great room large open space and it kept the whole area cool. It got up through 2 months of summer.

I was excited to get this set up in my room because it’s been soo hot! I get it all set up and go to turn it on..doesn’t work. I try 3 different outlets to make sure..nothing! Everything else works when plugged into those outlets so I’m not sure what the issue is. All I know is I’m still hot and very disappointed. I will have to return this and get a different one :(

This unit works great! I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever. It is a workhorse. Great value for the build quality!Smallfoot print, great design quality. No problem so far. I’ve run it two months straight. You’ll need either a bucket, 5 gallon bucket while using the AC or the dehumidifier. In the humid Florida south here works great depending on the humidity outside. Depends on how much the bucket fills up. I use it only at night all night and it cools my room down to 70 and 68°. Love it.But some might See the use of a bucket to be a pain, you could get a condensation pump and a bucket and have a pump it out the window or to a drain.

So this is a great airconditioner . It works very well. Others had talked about it being loud, but to me it as loud as a normal air conditioner. My only complaint is where they put the digital read out. It is on the top of the unit, so unless you walk up to it, you can not see the temperature it is set at, or the mode it is on. I also think that because the display is on top, the supplied remote does not work well. You have to hold the remote at a high angle in order for it to work . Mostly, you have to get up and get above and closer to the unit. Other than that, it's working out quite well.

I did a lot of research before buying this air conditioner and am happy to say it paid off. This air conditioner is excellent. Stylish design, high quality, easy to set up. It is well packaged, delivered on time, easy to unpack and easy to install. The roller was sturdy and I could easily move it into place, using the handle at the top of the back to guide it. It quickly cooled my large living room at high speeds and then maintained the temperature I set at low speeds, which was very quiet. The remote also works well with its own battery. Highly recommend.

I was a little hesitant when I bought it. I had a window unit already, that had been working for me just fine, but my roommates AC stopped working, and her room was across from mine, and getting so hot it was making our shared bathroom hot, and I'm not a fan of hot muggy rooms. So I just decided I was going to buy a new AC, then I saw the standup models and thought I'd give one of them a try because our windows are low to the floor, and installing a window unit in them requires getting very low to the floor, balancing a heavy AC out the window, and hoping not to fall out, just to install the window unit, and it's just a dangerous feeling. I figured I'd give her my window unit, so I'd never have to bother with it again, if the standup one worked well. Other reviews I saw said it would be more noisy than a window unit, less efficient to cool the room down, and went on about negative pressure, so I was worried, but once I tested it, I had no problem wanting to use it for my room, and handed over my window unit to my roommate. It cools faster just on the low cool fan setting, than my window unit did. The high fan setting is probably for very large living areas and not bedrooms, because this thing pumps out air more forcefully than the window unit. The low fan setting is also quieter than my window unit was, and even if I just run it on Fan mode, without Cool, the air flow still makes my room feel cool. Installation was also very easy, and keeping it clean and maintained is going to be far easier than maintaining the window unit. Just slide the window tube off the back of the AC, and you can clean the filters, drain the tanks if you run the dehumidifier mode, and when your done, slide the tube back on. Some Cons that were simple enough to fix. First, the window installation kit is meant for extremely wide windows, or horizontally sliding windows. IF you have a standard house window that opens up and down, you will need to cut the extending portion of the window kit down enough to fit your window without blocking the exhaust hole. This took 2 minutes with a hacksaw. Second, the drain tube that comes with it, isn't the best method, since once you uncork the drain holes, water will immediately come out while you're putting the tube in. I cut the tube in half and then from the end, I cut one portion down to 3 inches for the top tank, and the other to 5 inches for the bottom tank. Then I bought cheap little plastic faucet spouts for them from Lowes, and crazy glued the spouts into the tubes. Now I can just keep the tubes attached, and when I want to drain the tanks, I just put something under a spout and turn the valve to let the water out without ever having to deal with the mess of trying to uncork it to insert a long tube. I also placed wire mesh on the window side heat tube outlet, to prevent stink bugs from entering, the way they were entering my window unit. We get stink bugs where I live, and every other day, one would come flying out of the window unit. Now I don't have to worry about them getting into the window exhaust tube, even though I doubt they could get into the standup AC from the tube, I didn't want the risk of them flying into my room, whenever I detach the tube for routine filter cleaning and general maintenance.

We have not yet used the machine for a long period, but it was easy to set up and very compatible with apartment living. The only issue we have is with the delivery. FedEx let us know 3 days in a row that they were delivering that day, so someone had to hang around the apartment on all those days. Not efficient!

This was a lifesaver for me this past summer. I don't deal with the heat very well and used this every single day. It was on most of the day and night as well.My landlord told me the energy bills were barely affected so I'll just have to trust him on that since I didn't see for myself.I only ever had it on the lowest setting and that was plenty cold.I have it in a bedroom about 12' x 14'.It's easy to set up and connect to the window. Took maybe 15min. I have windows that slide side to side. About 3.5ft high. The window piece and the hose were both plenty long.Would probably depend on your area and weather but where I am, the air is pretty dry I'm guessing because I didn't have to empty the water tray once. So it would be hard for me to comment on that area. I did check it often thinking maybe it just wasn't notifying me..but no water. It's kinda heavy for one person to lift so i used a dolly and got this up to my apartment on my own. Once in the bedroom, it was easy enough to push it around on the wheels. It doesn't take a ton of room but you do some extra space around the unit to accommodate the vents. And the hose is a little bulky.Filter on the side slides out easily for cleaning. It's not super quiet but also not terribly loud. It took some time to get used to it coming on in the middle of the night to maintain the temperature. I didn't care too much after a while. I also had it pretty close to my bed so it might be better across the room.Whatever minor inconveniences this thing has, the benefits far outweigh them. I was so thankful it worked on arrival and works well!

I bought an old house with no A/C and this worked amazingly well even in 100 degree heat. I bought a second one of these for my daughter's studio out back. They kept us cool.

I needed an air conditioner that would cool a small space and this works perfect. I had to buy a different window fitter because my window is shaped differently but other than that I totally recommend this product. I also had to duct tape the end of the hose that goes to the conditioner only because of the angle it is at. Both pg those are no fault to the product I love it it cool down my place fast.
