As a woodworker/DIYer/ handyman and garage warrior (that's what my wife calls me) I am always happy when a new innovation comes to the woodworking community. When I first started seeing the corner clamping sets on Amazon I thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread (as the saying goes). Anyway a few years later and having used numerous varieties of these clamps I can tell you that most are cheap junk. Very few are actually square and the "L" bolts are a pain in but to operate sometimes. Now these come into the picture and they are (in my opinion) a breath of fresh air to the corner clamping world. They have addressed most of the problems with the old-style ones and reinvented the wheel (so to speak). These are great. This set is square and you can use them for other tasks in your garage, such as squaring your blades on all your tools and setting the blade height on your table saw. These clamps are very easy to apply, and they do not leave marks on your wood unless you really crank them down hard. There is so much surface to the clamp itself that it is not necessary to do that anyway. You can use these clamps upside down because the clamps surface is flat. You could not do that with the "L" bolt type clamps. They are Well made and should last forever. My only suggestion is that they make the square part longer on the one side to match the other side. I am not sure why one side is stubby. Other than that, these are awesome clamps, and I am glad I could get a set for my garage.Bottom line, A well-made innovative corner clamping square kit that will get a lot of use in my shop.....

These 90 Degree Right Angle Corner Clamps are a great addition to the workshop! I like the compact size, and the versatility of the low profile clamps comes in handy for other applications too. The pieces are all accurately machined and anodized with a great satin finish. Markings are clear and accurate, and everything works exactly like it should. I find these corner clamps much easier to use than the competition, there's no fiddling with trying to align a separate sliding piece on the clamp while awkwardly holding the wood in place. I definitely recommend these corner clamps!

These clamps work great, they hold as close to 90 as they should and clamp well to uneven edges. The 90 blocks have a good anodized finish and the tabs on the clamps easily engage with the slots on the blocks. They are small and easy to work around. My only gripe would be a lack of storage box but that would be a fun project to build with them. I would gladly recommend these to my woodworking friends.

I have a pile of corner clamps used for making boxes and frames. Almost all of the designs are the same with different qualities of fabrication. These clamps are quite a bit different.First, the clamp part is very different from the norm. This solves one of the problems with less sophisticated clamps: when tightened the clamp gets cocked, and faces do not remain parallel to the work. This results in more force only at the top of the boards allowing it to go out of plumb. This is a bigger problem for boxes than applications like picture frames. These clamps do not have that problem. This feature comes at the expense of the clamps being much more resource intensive than the corner bracket. The corner bracket is a little small (only 4" by 2") but is wide (11/16") giving you a large surface to counteract the clamp. Since I have others corner sets, I can use these superior clamps in this set with the larger brackets from other sets. I suspect that there will be other situations not involving corners where these clamps will be useful.Hopefully, others will recognize the value of this design and adopt similar features. The set of four corners and eight clamps seems like a bargain for $35.

Great deal; especially if you can get it on sale! These made making a wooden frame so much easier than trying homemade jigs. I like they are usable as both inside and outside holds. They have a bit of adjustibility with the slots. The clamps hold tight and firm. The braces are true 90 degrees so they make a convenient square for a quick verify (the gap in the pic was user cut error....no fault of these clamps.) Everything feels solid and well built.

The special holding clamps which also have nice ruler markings on them do a very nice job on a small project that you do not want to mar. These would make a nice addition if you make small boxes and drawers or jewelry boxes but I would not get these as my first and only set, theses are specialty clamps. Even though the square clamps and holes do a nicer job they are more cumbersome to get on than simply using a quick clamp with the rubber pads on it, which is what everyone does with the bigger ones I show in the picture for comparison. And quickclamps with rubber pads are even less mar than these. I have never even taken the clamps that came with mine out of the package. Unfortunately with this design that small side of these is barely big enough for a quickclamp and wouldnt work well. So these are a special addition to your tools and shouldn't be your main first purchase of these unless you only do small work. You can however use the holdowns as clamps for a small glue up as shown in the one picture which is a cool additional use. The screws in those clamps are made of stainless steel instead of the cheaper galvanized stuff which is nice 3 out of the 4 spun really nice, the one that didnt looked like it might not have been cut perfect or just needed to be cleaned with a brush good. ***Please Note!!! I added the the fullsize version of one of these with 4 holes on each size from another set for COMPARRISON you DO NOT GET THAT ONE it is from another set I own****
