This is a handheld scissor/cutter that leans towards craft and semi-industrial use. The scissor comes in a carry case that also includes a charger, a USB-C charging cable, a spare cutting blade and basic instructions.After charging I tried using the cutter in a variety of settings. To operate, you push in a safety button on the side of the unit then squeeze the trigger handle into the body of the scissor.At first, using card stock, I found it easier to cut straight lines but after a while I was able to adjust my technique to make curved cuts. I found it harder to cut loose or soft cloth, though I expect the cutter would fare better with taughtened materials that could offer some resistance for the blade to cut into.I think this cutter would work well in certain craft situations and also if, like me, you need to collapse a lot of cardboard boxes. The cutter worked well with corrugated cardboard.

Charges up fast, charge lasts a long time. Great for cutting down boxes to fit in recycling bin. I love it!

I chose this for it's claim to cut cardboard well.I do get a lot of boxes, I use the cardboard for my garden. I lay new beds with it, to kill weeds and make the dirt easier to dig through.I also use it around established plants and bushes to lay mulch on, this makes it easier to use the lawn mower around them.I have been cutting cardboard already, even with 8" of snow on the ground. It cuts through so easy, I'm cutting and stacking, while making my garden plans...it's a Gardeners thing we do.Use the hard winter down time to make plans and order supplies.It's been actually fun cutting with it. Just zips right thru, very low noise.Can watch TV or listen to music while doing it. Came with a charge already, I am in the habit of recharging after each use.I have not ran it down completely, but says it takes 2 hours to fully charge. Holds a charge really well but I only use it for maybe 10 minutes at a time so far.Great tool to have around the house if you have to cut carpet or vinyl. Speaking of which, we have a vinyl floor in our restroom and it will be replaced in the Spring, I think the Husband will be very happy to have this to help.

I ordered the Cordless Electric Scissors from Sahtcaky to use in my office and around the house. These electric scissors work great, they are powerful and easy to use. They charge quickly and the electric scissors, extra blade and charger easily fit in the carrying case that’s included.Another great feature of these electric scissors is the safety lock. Both the trigger and safety switch have to be engaged in order for the scissors to work. These electric scissors are very useful for a lot of different projects. Whenever I package items to send out, I use these during the packaging and also use them to cut down boxes to fit items. By cutting down the boxes to a smaller size I am able to save a lot of money on shipping. So these electric scissors have been a great value for me. I also find they are very useful around the house.The scissors make it so easy to repurpose all the cardboard boxes I get in daily. I am able to easily cut out cardboard sheets for packing, storage, etc..Overall, these electric scissors are a great value, they are a very useful tool to have around the house and office.

This is my first experience with electric scissors and I really wish I hadn’t waited. These make cutting everything easier. I was going to use them exclusively for cutting fabric so the blades would stay sharp longer. They give a clean cut and with just a little practice, I can now cut a curved line better than with my standard scissors. When I realized how well they work for cutting down boxes, I also use them a lot for that. It’s great that there is a set of extra blades included but they are also pretty easy to keep sharp with a sharpening stone. The safety lock is an important feature that is much appreciated. I also like that they are relatively lightweight and don’t take up much space on the shelf. And I really like that they are cordless. All of these benefits make these electric scissors a good value and a very welcome addition to my toolkit.

This thing tears through cardboard like a hot knife through butter. In a few minutes I managed to turn a mountain of Christmas present boxes and assorted cardboard mess into a much more compact pile of broken-down, cut up pieces. I haven't tried it for fabric and I wouldn't want to when much more elegant options are available. I could see it working well on carpet, especially when trying to cut carpet with scissors would get old quick.If there's anything I'm particularly fond of here, it's the intuitive and effective safety system. You have to press the safety in with your index finger and hold the grip with the rest of your hand in order to get it going. I have tiny hands and I have no problem accomplishing this, and I appreciate that the device keeping your hand in this position helps you focus on what you're doing, which is important for using any cutting implement safely. The cherry on top is that it charges via USB-C -- to me, there's no excuse for anything else in 2024 and beyond, but there are a few manufacturers that didn't get the memo apparently.
