Love how quiet this buffer is compared to my Flex 3401. Not very powerful but sufficient for what I got it for and for the price it can't be beat. Only complaint is like the other reviews. I wish it would go back to the previous speed setting before stopping. Other than that, this is a great buy.

Overall it works decent. I have a corded 6 in buffer, and this one at top speed which is number six is equivalent to about three or four on my corded one. My corded one also goes up to six. It did show up damaged, they really needs to come into a bigger box, things were just crammed inside there. It ended up cracking the base where the battery snaps in, but I was able to use some some Blue Angel Bond, fixed it right up. I did do a little bit of paint correction with it, I had recently done my car so the whole thing did not need correcting. But I did use it to apply the wax to the vehicle, and it worked really well. The weight of the tool with a four amp hour battery weighs in about 3 lb 15 oz, and without the battery it weighs 2 lb 9 oz. I wouldn't really recommend it to do paint correction for a whole vehicle with it, but just doing particular spots, like maybe the hood or the roof so you don't have a cord dangling over the car, I think it would work pretty well with that. It does have a few annoying features, the on and off button requires you to press and hold it to turn it on and to turn it off. no matter what speed it's set on when you turn it off, it always starts back at speed one. It does have a gauge to show your battery level, and the show the speed you're working at. And it's fairly compact, I found myself just palming it and that worked pretty well. The backing plate is removable, and it does come with the wrench to do that. It does come with some buffing pads, but I did not use them to do any paint correction, the pads just seem too hard to me, I would rather use a padam familiar with. But I did use the bumpy pads to apply wax to the car, and that worked pretty well. It does come with five different bonnets, but I could not get them to work. The elastic on the bonnet was interfering with the body of the buffer. It also comes with some 2000 grit sandpaper, three pieces. And you can use either a genuine Milwaukee battery, or one of the knockoffs, they both work. It has nice rubber over molding on it makes it a little bit more comfortable to hold on to. So overall I would say it's decent.

It worked out great to buff out the outside panels of a fiberglass RV trailer. It had plenty of power. It didn’t run down the batteries too fast, but it kept up to for what it was designed for.

Sure, this isn't a corded two-hand orbital polisher/sander. But it has some really nice features, is super handy being cordless and a smaller size, and comes with a nice assortment of pads/sanding paper.What stands out to me immediately is the orbital nature is not as large an orbit as what I've seen with a two-handed corded version. That said, it has various power levels and a visual indicator to let you know what number it is on as well as the battery charge remaining. Feels great in the hand and isn't too heavy at all.The base for attaching pads is vervy clingy...a good thing to keep those pads on. Like another reviewer, I had to take some time to get the bonnets on and not interfering with the shell. A few tucks and pulls here and there and I was able to get most of it away to where I could use it without much interference.I've only tested it so far but looking forward to a couple projects. One on my car for a scratch and another on my boat to polish it up. Absolutely no issues so far.

This is a powerful sander/buffer tool. It's great that I can use my Milwaukee batteries with it. It's really nice to have the 6 speeds because the full speed is pretty aggressive. There is more control at lower speeds. I am using it to polish the clear coat on my car and it works really well. I need to use water with the polishing disk and I like having a cordless tool because I can't get a serious shock from using water around the tool.It runs smoothly and it's pretty quiet. The hook surface on the tool that holds the loop surface on the pads is really strong. I couldn't pull off my polishing disk by hand. I had to use a putty knife and slip it between the two to get them apart. The hooks are strong enough that I can tap the tool on my chest when I'm wearing my fleece jacket and it will hang there.I'm also going to use it to polish hard wax oil finishes that I use in woodworking. It will be way better than doing that by hand.
