I received the outlet early but that is the only good thing i have to say about it really. i took the cover off the battery and removed the plastic put the battery in and set the program up for everyday. here is the problems it changes days all the time. and the time on the clock doesn’t stay set. the auto always turn to either in or off. basically it’s not working at all.

My original timer was the same one as this. I had it for 6 years. I didn't want to spend this much on the new one, so I ordereda cheaper timer. Well, I returned that within an hour of receiving it, because it was garbage. So I had to spend the extra money and get this one again.The saying "You get what you pay for" is true. Cheaper is not always better.

Couldn’t get the timers to work. Google reviews show other people have had same problem. Buy a smart power bar instead. Only product I’ve ever returned to Amazon

Purchased for our bearded dragon's UVB and basking lights. While this product does the job at half the price of reptile-branded ones, I wish it were easier to "pause" or edit the schedule. It wasn't difficult to program or change the schedule, but not as convenient as just typing it into an app, and if you needed to "pause" the schedule or make adjustments it was very easy to disrupt the clock and therefore the schedule. Overall, it worked for our purposes until we upgraded to a dual wifi outlet that was easier to program and took up a lot less space.

I was a bit concerned about this product based on some of the reviews, but while the instructions are a bit confusing, the timer is pretty easy to use. We set it up to control multiple lights for a reptile tank and it came on first time as we'd hoped and had been doing the day / night cutover without issue. I found it much easier to program and use than the manual timers.

Works well. However, it has a glitch. There is one day of the week that it always turns of my aquarium lights before the scheduled time. I checked the time and they all read the same, but there is just one day that the lights go off 20 minutes before the time that it’s set for.

I bought this in March of 2018. It is now January of 2019.It worked great and did what it was supposed to do when it worked.For the past few months (around October) it started switching sooner than it should (had them switching at 8 am and 8 pm. They started switching at 7).Then yesterday I switched around my reptile room and when I plugged it back in, the screen was no longer working. My night lights immediately came on. I couldn't get the screen to work again so I couldn't reprogram it. For now I'm using it as a basic power strip with the "constant" outlets until I can find something else.Unfortunately there aren't many outlets with the timers that switch day and night lights. I love the idea of the design, I just wish it worked a little bit better.

I absolutly love this product. I bought it after i got my Sailfin dragons. I have a very busy life and sometimes fall asleep with the lights on. With this easy to use plug in day and night system. I told it when to switch the lights to day and night lighta and it does it automatically. It has awesome features tonset multiple timers if you would like, and has spinnable rops for the plugins so you wont ruin the ones you arent using.

Ok so took a couple times to get all the settings correct read directions slow and search you tube for a video its great for programming. Since programmed and installed this thing is great i use it for my marine aquarium and would recommend this to any person in the hobby buy one take your time programming it and walk away it will do its job. One note it will not kick in to run correct untill the programmed time has come and gone so give it a day and your set.
