I would say its pretty close to the doona inserts we lost ours and needed them for baby number 2. With the price of replace for the doona Being $30 just for the head piece and then another $30 for the bottom one, i decided to find something similar instead. It washes well, It soft, would say that it's not as thick as the doona ones so the neck support part has a bigger gap. If ur in a pinch then definitely get it.

Our Doona came with a newborn insert, which Baby 1 quickly outgrew. Could I find it in time for Baby 2? Nope. This one makes a really nice replacement and fits well in the Doona without interfering with the hood or straps. Quality is good, no weird plastic smell. Happy with this product.

I purchased this product for my infant car seat and did not expect a perfect fit. The surface is made of breathable mesh fabric, which is cool and comfortable for the baby, not stuffy, and is made with extra padding and side impact protection to keep protect the baby's head

Posture has been carefully considered in the design. This cushion provided support that felt natural, in contrast to others that forced my baby's head forward or appeared uncomfortably flat. It gently held my baby's head without putting them in an awkward posture. Another feature that I liked was the breathability. The mesh fabric of the cushion provided airflow on hot days, which enhanced the enjoyment of rides. I previously used inserts that made my baby unhappy and sweaty since they felt thick and trapped heat. During summer excursions, when temperatures were at their peak, this cushion was particularly useful because it kept things cool.
