I was surprised to find out that these inserts didn’t come with the car seat automatically. I initially chose this car seat to save money instead of going for a more high-end option, but now I regret it. Even after adding the inserts, the comfort level is just average. The cup holders are oddly designed, and the seat itself is extremely uncomfortable—so much so that I had to add my Maxi-Cosi shoulder pads for extra cushioning. Without purchasing additional padding, the seat feels hard as a rock.

I hate that this needs to be purchased separately, but it gets the job done.
