This may be a defect with my memory. I've not used a gas lantern in a long time. These mantles seem to be much sturdier than they were back in the day. It seems to me that if I didn't handle the lantern like eggs the mantles would break. Not these. I've not tried to break them but I haven't broken any yet either. Good work Coleman.

Nice to buy bulk. Should work fine. Always does. I love my Coleman lanterns. Worked great during the hurricane. If price was a little bit lower I would give it 5 stars. Still a fair price though.
