Pokin Replacement Pump Cup with Backup Plate for Coleman

Stove repair kit includes one leather pump cap, one metal nut, and one plastic cap. These parts sandwich together inside the pump so that the leather cap can create an air seal when pumped.

The metal nut (the piece with the triangular opening) fits below the leather piece closer to the inside of the lantern, while the plastic part fits above the leather piece.

Note:

Lather cap will need to be oiled before use, which can be found as part #: 200K2251 (not included).

Fits pump assemblies on all Coleman stove and lanterns with fuel tanks, including models 222, 226, 229, 400, 440, 442, 445, 450, 550, 3022 and 3024.

Easy to Install:

1. Remove spring clip.

2. Remove pump cup and metal plate.

3. Place plastic backup plate, collar forward, on plunger shaft.

4. Place pump cup on plunger shaft.

5. Replace spring clip.

Seems to be a little larger than what is on my stove but with oil it should be pliable enough to squeeze in.

The leather cup was too thick/tight to fit in the pump bore. I eventually made it fit and work by shaving the leather thinner.

I bought the replacement seals. They are too big for my duel fuel, I’ve had the unit for 20 years so, expected the description to be accurate… The mantles are as expected but without the seals they are currently redundant.

My 413G stove needed a smaller screw than provided. It couldn't get in. I'm not a fan of having to size of leather and trowing the other out with the plastic and screw parts as well if you don't have the other colleman stove or lantern that have a use for it.

Too much modifying to get to work. Says it was to work with my stove but didn’t.

Will definitely make your stove work like new. Forget the plastic cups, those are a joke. My stove now works like one that I bought in 1978. Easy to start. Buy one!

being leather you have to soak in oil to soften the leather seal to fit into pump

The parts were difficult to install. My 200a Lantern did not have a clip holding the pump cup in place. I had to cut back the shoulder on the pump shaft to make enough room for the retaining clip. I soaked it in oil overnight than used a hose clamp to compress the cup enough to get it in the lantern. If you get frustrated or your time is of value, I think one would be better off buying a complete pump assembly.

Leather pump cup is way too big. Best to use genuine Coleman replacement part.

Soak them in a light machine oil, preferably Gun oil but, definitely not WD-40 as it will gum up over time. Soak for about ten mins and attach to the pump shaft. Shape them, take your time inserting them.

When it came in the mail the leather seals look waaay too big. I soaked in sewing machine oil for 15 mins then carefully formed it into the fuel tank cylinder.Pressurized and fired right up. Product works great.
