HOW TO INSTALL A NEW PUMP IN THE NEW COLEMAN LANTERN
Carefully remove the old pump from the old Coleman lantern. Use pliers to grip the pump and twist it counterclockwise to detach it from the lantern.
Rotate The Slot And Remove It. Take Out The Brand-New Universal Plunger Metal Part You Purchased.
Apply Some Oil To The New Universal Plunger Metal Part To Prevent Damage To The Piston When It Slides Up And Down The Cylinder.
Place The Universal Plunger Metal Part Into The Lantern And Fix It In Place By Turning The Slot With the Pliers. Once the pump is securely installed, you can proceed to fuel the lantern and ignite it according to the lantern's instructions.

Arrived bent at the location where the shaft fits over the air stem. Would not fit, and not eligible for return, which I did not know when I purchased. Wasted 2 days waiting for this faulty item.

I got a Coleman stove from my father which he got as a kid from his father. Over the huge number of years the plunger deteriorated and no longer functioned. This was a perfect replacement and the stove works well again.

Replaced two Latern and one stove. Very easy once you understand that the kit comes assembled, but not in its entirety. Remove the clip and plunger, they offer an extra clip in the kit, follow the old plunger to see in what order the parts go, then add the clip. Lubricate them before install

I replaced the original pump in a Coleman stove and it fits. A little stiff pumping so I'll try it for a few times and see if it loosens up at all. Before I remove it and see if a little more oil will help. But I creates pressure unlike my original. Seems it just needed a new gasket so I'll hang onto the original and see if I can just replace the gasket in it and have an extra pump.

Now I'm a layman but I couldn't figure how this thing went back together so it wasn't very easy to install. I did my research and it's the values there if I only had the education to tell me how to install it It was seemingly the right size it looked like it would work well it was of quality build and it just hasn't gotten put back together yet.
