I needed a mounting bracket for a Cobra 146GTL CB radio which is 7.5" wide. This bracket fits perfectly and has a nice finish. Feels secure when mounted. Very happy with this bracket!

Really? What am I supposed to say. It's a bracket designed to hold a CB radio.It can be screwed to something and the nuts you better already have with your CB can hold it onto the bracket.
