Had it mounted in a large track hoe that was, at times, working in difficult material and it never dropped the radio. Check your side nuts regularly though.

This bracket can be used for a car radio or cb radio or even car speaker or even a pressure gauge mount. I use it for a small cb speaker external mount and it works perfect. It is adjustable to fit different sizes.Great mount.

I purchased this bracket because Midland does not sell replacement brackets for their CB Radios. The bracket can be adjusted to fit the needs of your CB/HAM/GMRS radio. All of the parts seemed to be made of strong metal and it's very stable. If you're looking for a replacement bracket I would definitely suggest this one.
