I have this bit for leveling my spoil board on my cnc machine. It works as it should. I haven’t had any issues with it clearing off my 33 inch board. Great price for a quality bit.

This bit worked amazing for my router for slab flattening on a router sled. (Just make sure you're sled is level)

I had this for a handful of months. I used this to surface probably 3-5 of slabs and it worked great in the beginning. However on my last two slabs all I got was smoke and burning. I noticed the bit was now dull. I think of you use this for more than 1 or 2 slabs, carbide is probably the way to go.

I had low expectations whenI bought this router but because it was only $20. I hoped I could use it for flattening a few boards for one project with my router sled before it was too dull to use. After several months of abuse and dozens of completed projects, this bit still works beautifully. I just finally thoroughly cleaned it for the first time and it looks as clean and sharp as the day I got it. With less care, it has out-performed many of my more expensive router bits. Great tool, I highly recommend it.

Router bit seems a good value and seems to work well for resurfacing spoil board (HDPE plastic in my case) which is why I gave it four stars....except if you get a bad one.If purchasing I would check the carbide tips by place against a smooth surface like a 1-2-3 block or piece of glass (with a think piece of paper to eliminate the glare). Then look with some back light for the contact point of the carbide tips.Amazon did a good job at quickly replacing the one in question quickly.

I used this well made router bit to mortise for 5/8" radius interior door hinges when I had the task of replacing 20+ doors (of a different appearance style than the existing) in existing residential door jambs. Customer was happy with the doors and I was pleased with the performance of the 1 1/4" router bit. I made a jig for the door edge that made perfect duplication of the desired mortise footprint and depth simple.

I used this to surface the top and bottom of a slab for a resin river table build. The bit made nice, even cuts in a router sled and was sharp and durable enough to plane the top and bottom of the board. Good choice for a hobbyist who can build the cost of the bit into the project.
