Wow, this is a massive bit. The latest issue of Fine Woodworking had an article on a DIY router sled that I am keen to try building. This bit should be useful for flattening the spoilboard and surfacing boards that won't go through my planer. Seems like a nice bit but can't comment on performance until I test it out.

This surfacing bit makes short work of cleaning up my 34in x42in spoil board. It is well machined with clean, tight insert pockets and leaves a very nice black oxide finish. Of course, with a bit this large you have to have your machine very well trammed to prevent ridges. The finish on wood products is exceptional. I thought I would try it on aluminum but the inserts are perfectly square with the shank so the is no clearance towards the center causing chatter with cuts mote than a thou or two deep. For what it was made for this is a very good bit.
