The way I knit, I end up poking a hole in my finger with the end of the needle as I have the habit of holding the tip of it as I slip the stitch off. I tried using band-aids to save my finger, but went through a lot as I had to remove it every time I wanted to do something else, and then had to apply a new one when I picked up my knitting again, so I ordered this Clover brand thimble to save my poor finger, and my band-aid bill, although I have no doubt the pharmacy loved me! I bought the large size because I have arthritis in my fingers which makes my joints are enlarged, and it fits perfectly! It is good quality leather and I especially like how they made it finger shaped rather than having both halves the same size and sewing it together flat, like so many other brands I saw. I have been using it for a while now, and it looks like it is very durable and will last me for years!

Definitely the best thimble I have tried so far. The leather is flexible while still being thick enough to prevent getting stuck by a needle. The thimble is comfortable to wear and is easy to grip the needle while wearing it. Large size for the thumb is perfect while regular size is good for other fingers. Will absolutely buy again once I need more.

I love using a leather thimble versus a metal one. And this one has been my favorite so far. It has held up much better than the previous ones I have used. It fits perfectly on my finger and I don't have little petite fingers, so I was a little worried about that. In fact, it is so comfortable that I often forget I have it on! If you prefer a leather thimble when sewing, then this is for you.

Sizing info is on the package--but that doesn't help someone trying to buy one of these online. Plus, the hole on the package for sizing isn't really very accurate. I now own small, medium, and large in my effort to find the correct size for me. It's very frustrating!

I bought a Large leather thimble for my Thumb - because my embroidery technique was causing a royal pain in the thumb (I push the needle with my thumb lol)I loved how the leather moulded to my thumb as I wore it & how comfortable overall it was to wear & work with. I found myself forgetting to take it off after working on a project; I even managed to knit with it too. Loved the soft cushiony protection while maintaining a sense of suppleness & needle control.I’m going to buy a couple smaller sizes for finger tips (& a backup Large one for my thumb too).Highly recommend purchase.

The thimble (large) was exactly as pictured and described. I was impressed that it got here so quickly, I've been having allot of delivery issues with Amazon which is in no way reflective of the seller. I can't wait to use it!

Good quality , well made, no sweating like in others. I have a size 7 in leather gloves (EU) and took the Large size here. It fits well, without being tight to all my fingers. Happy with it.

I've been a quilter for over 25 years. After using several different thimbles made from a variety of materials (plastic, metal, leather), this one is the best I've used by far. The leather is thick enough, and the seam located in a good place, so that the needle doesn't pierce it. Yet it's plyable enough to feel comfortable on my finger. I have short, fat fingers and the size large fits my middle finger well.

I bought this to protect my finger since I’ve the bad habit of pushing my knitting needle against my finger the move the yarn. I love that it is made out of leather. But it needs a little elastic around the edge/opening to help it stay on the finger.

I do a lot of hand sewing that requires using some force to push a needle through. I have wanted a leather thimble for a while now, and was happy to find this one and give it a try. It was very comfortable, fit my large hands (woman's) very well, and saved a lot of wear and tear on my fingertip. I only wish I'd found this years ago. As for durability, like anything as it is used it will wear out--especially when the nature of it is to protect your fingertip from something so sharp--so one day it will need replaced. That is not today, however. Very happy with this purchase!

I do lots of English Paper Piecing. I am tall and have much larger hands than the average woman, apparently, because thimbles never fit and the adjustable ones don't stay on or sit right. These are hands down the best one I have used. Very comfortable, you don't even notice it on. They get better with age and last a long time before they wear thin enough for needles to punch through. When that happens I turn it around and then get lots more use out of it.
