The ones I received were not really like the advert. The ones I received were a rather yucky brown/red colour, very stiff and smell strange. I presume they will work ok, not tried them yet, as long as they are not too stiff.

I got these to keep my cat from biting me when I give him his pills (or rather, keep the biting from hurting me). He's a cutie, but cantankerous and fourteen.I cut the tips off so I can still feel the pill, and cut strips out on the undersides at the points where my index finger and thumb have joints that bend. The stitching and leather have held up even with those modifications, and they do keep Mr. Pointy Teeth from perforating my fingers. I wear nitrile gloves on top to keep the stinky cat breath off my hands (and the pill pocket slime residue). While it's a little difficult to get the gloves on while I'm wearing these, it's doable.I realize none of this is what these little thingies are for, but it's made pill time much less likely to include small puncture wounds for me, and I'm grateful.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. They my are soft and pliable so I can still bend my fingers, but thick enough I won't stab myself while needle felting.
