I spend a great deal of time hunting, I'm always on the lookout for gear that enhances my experience while ensuring safety. These non-slip tree steps definitely have their merits, but there's one aspect that falls short.Let's start with the positives. First and foremost, these steps are incredibly sturdy. Once installed, they feel rock-solid underfoot, providing a sense of security that's crucial when scaling trees, especially in less-than-ideal weather conditions. The non-slip design truly lives up to its promise; even in damp or icy conditions, I felt confident in my grip.Another aspect I appreciate is their ease of installation. Unlike some other tree-climbing sticks I've used in the past, these were a breeze to set up. The simple yet effective design meant I spent less time fiddling with hardware and more time focusing on my hunt.Durability is another standout feature. These steps are built to last, with rugged materials that show no signs of wear even after repeated use. Knowing I can rely on them season after season gives me peace of mind when planning my hunting trips. However, it's not perfection. The one drawback I've noticed is the weight. While the durability is appreciated, it does come at a cost in terms of portability. These steps are a bit heavier than I'd prefer, especially when carrying them over long distances or through thick brush. It's a minor inconvenience but worth considering for hunters prioritizing mobility.Despite this one drawback, these non-slip tree steps are a solid investment for any serious hunter. Their durability, reliability, and safety features make them a valuable addition to my gear arsenal, even if they're a tad heavy.

Sticks are heavy, after first use the bracket to hold them together on 2 of them broke off so that’s very cheap. Straps work nice tho heavy duty not worries for them breaking. Just not worth the price at all

A few days ago I used these sticks to get 18 to 20 feet up a tree to bow hunt deer. The set up was very simple , very sturdy , quiet and very light to pack. The most efficient I’ve ever used to climb a tree.

Very solid and sturdy. Straps are heavy duty. Sticks not super light but not heavy by any means as they are aluminum. Price is right and you get 4 sticks instead of 3 of the expensive ones. Definitely recommend!!

Bargain Price for High Quality DOUBLE STEP Climbing SticksThese are great Climbing Sticks which are better than my buddy’s way more expensive name brand. His expensive name brand only have a step on one side top and bottom. Yes, his Climbing Sticks are a bit lighter, but for safety I prefer the double side double steps like on these climbing sticks. There are certainly a lot of educational videos out there showing so called improvements you can do to your name brand Climbing Sticks but I am going to do nothing to these perfectly designed Climbing Sticks. Well, I am going to also carry an “aider” of sorts to get a little higher in the tree. I do not like the single foot web strap “aider” that is too hard to get your hunting boot into in the dark and when you are trying to be quiet. I carry a marine type rope ladder that has solid rungs that you can put both feet onto.I am adamant about climbing safety. The most common hunting injury, or death, is caused by the hunter falling out of a tree. I use a real Iron Worker’s Safety Harness with a shock absorbing fall arrest system, AND, a Suspension Trauma Relief System. I use TWO Linesman Straps so that I am always attached to the tree going around obstacles and I can use both hands to set up the platform.
