This is good for what we use it for, our grandkids use it to get in and out of a treehouse. They think it's fun. It is sturdy, I just wish it was a bit longer/taller.

I like the fact that it’s reflective but five steps might be to many. Once you put your foot on one of the steps they rest bunch up and make it hard to get you foot in the rest.

My whole family hunts and when I asked my brother to put my sticks up, he did. For him. The bigger problem is that I live on the family farm where we hunt... he doesn't so instead of compromising about how high or low the climbing sticks need to be for us to both use the tree stand, now it's not a problem.I have no issues hanging the ladder, which is very heavy and feels sturdy when climbing, and when I'm not hunting, it's easy to take it off of the tree and take back to the house.It's a great way to help smaller female hunters get into the good trees! I have the 5 step version but the 3 step version would have worked fine.

I often hunt from a hang on stand and wanted a way to keep it inaccessible to anyone who shouldn't be in it. I like this as an option for the bottom climbing stick to be at about head height. This keeps anyone who could be passing by being able to climb up to the stand. I can then just carry this in and out of the woods with me to access my stand. The straps hook on to the bottom climbing stick fine and stay in place with no issues on my sticks. My climbing sticks do have a pretty aggressive tread on the steps but it does come with clips that could be used to secure it to your steps if they are smooth. I have seen on other models that have a firm plastic across the step breaking, while this model is more just a coated webbing where you step. This makes it easier to pack in and out and prevents an issue of plastic breaking. By this design the steps do pinch in on your boot so you need to be extra careful but so far I have had no issues.

Good quality aider, it's held up well so far. The top step is a little far from my bottom step on .y stick. I just wrapped it over my step to shorten it and it works great.

The material seems good and tough. Been using it a couple months now saddle hunting. It definitely helps but the distance between the top step and where it connects to your climbing stick is quite a lot. Kinda a pain trying to get my leg up. One more step on the aider or a little less overall length it would be perfect
