This is a great set that seems accurate and is easy to use. It is very clear in its readings and is very user friendly. It includes the instructions but the app is great too! I appreciate that it includes both the strips and the thermometer for multiple confirmations. I have used other apps and thermometers in the past and this is a very nice set to get you started on natural family planning!

Not every woman’s cycle is the same, and if you are not “regular,” it makes natural family planning even more challenging. The basal thermometer works differently and is more sensitive than a regular thermometer, so having one (as is included in the kit) is essential. Unfortunately this thermometer is really loud, so if you share a bed and your partner is still sleeping, you’ll wake them up when you use it.The pee strips add an extra layer of information about where you are in your cycle. The app is not necessary, you can also track on paper. The thermometer and urine stick don’t talk with the app — you still need to manually put the info of each reading into the app.I’d say this is a good starter kit to familiarize yourself with your cycle and your most fertile days, but it’s not 100% effective, so if you are really trying to avoid pregnancy, use protection even when it says not to.

The 3 months of NC free that comes with this makes it worth buying. I use both the thermometer and ovulation tests. Using both seems to make the app’s algorithm work better and find ovulation day faster. I’m not a fan of hormonal contraceptives and this is a great alternative for me.

No need to buy this kit. You can use any thermometer with the app. I don’t like this thermometer because the blue light is bright but gosh it is LOUD. Two loud beeps right when you press it and when it goes off. Haven’t needed the ovulation strips yet. Just go get a normal thermometer and the app! You don’t need this.

I haven't used the kit as completely as I expected, but I have found the thermometer of particular help to track basil temperature. It seems accurate and consistent, reads quickly enough and I haven't had any issues with the battery or anything like that. The rest of the kit seems great, again, I just haven't taken the time to really dive into due to some changes of circumstance. Definitely do your research on hormonenfree birth control, but otherwise this product seems like a great place to start.

I love and hate this product. The test itself is great. It is easy to use, easy to read and can be marked with a pen and kept for manual tracking just as paper tests can because once you eject them from the test the clear viewing window displays the test lines. This is helpful because the digital test indicates low levels an high levels but does not show a distinction between a high LH , various sure levels or an LH peak, where as the line shows the actual line darkness in comparison to the control. As far as the app...ugh, another invasive data collecting app and monthly subscription. It does come with a three month free trial that I did not use because the hidden cost for that short term trial is the data you hand over. I believe there is both a monthly and annual option should you chose to pay for the app subscription. The over all cost of this kit only evens out if you plane to use all of the features. The 15 test only allow 5 tests per month for the 3 months. Technically that's sufficient for women who already have an idea of their cycle or for those with regular cycles, its not enough for women who fall outside of those parameters. I do like the accuracy and easy of use of the test itself, but the overall cost to replace the digital reader and strips is quite high so not recommended for long term tracking.

Instructions were clear and I’m not on birth control and this made not getting pregnant much easier! I love how much it has in it and I think this is a game changer for anyone who is sensitive to any hormones that birth control usually has! I definitely recommend this and would get more!

Natural Cycles has been a great option for me as a hormone-free birth control method. The process is simple and straightforward: I track my basal body temperature each morning and enter the data into the app. The app then uses an algorithm to determine my daily fertility status, telling me whether it's a Red Day or Green Day. The starter kit includes everything I needed to get started: a 3-month app subscription, 15 Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests, and a digital thermometer for accurate readings. The app is easy to use, and I love how it helps me stay in control of my contraception without the use of hormones. While it’s ideal for those with regular cycles, I appreciate that it gives me the flexibility to track my fertility naturally. It’s a reliable, simple, and personalized method for birth control.
