Used it one time traveling and it tore in several places my flight home. Threw it away. Could have been a better quality, but at least my luggage didn’t get destroyed.

cover fit nicely over the suitcase. plastic covers protects the contents and suitcase in foul weather events. sometimes luggage is carted to the tarmac only to sit in rain or snow while waiting for the aircraft to dock at the gate. without a plastic cover rain and snow could soak the exterior of the suitcase and damage contents.plastic covers also protect the suitcase from oil stains when it is tossed from the luggage door into the interior of the aircraft.and, finally, the plastic cover makes it easier to identify your suitcase on the luggage carousel.

Not good for airline travel. Loaders pick up luggage by plastic and it tears.

I purchased this cover to protect a new hard sided suitcase I purchased in Hawaii and didn't want it all scratched up. The first time I used it, it withstood the airport brutal handling with ease. But we just got back from a 2nd trip with it and it was hanging on by a thread when it came down the luggage carousal. BOO!! I think that maybe it would not have been so tattered if it had a slot on the side for the side handle to aid in moving it from one place to the next - but it doesn't. Now I have to find another one that does!! Good luck!

Love this! I got many questions about the suitcase protector. They are much needed during travel the way your luggage is thrown and destroyed during traveling.
