I've played clarinet for 14 years and was REALLY impressed with how complete and quality this care kit is!! It's nice to have a case for storage and organization, but regardless there's a ton of value in this set! Enough cork grease and mouthpiece guards to last quite a long time. Everything seems to be quite decent quality and solid materials. Well worth the price to keep your instrument in top shape and performing well.

I was excited to test out this cleaning kit. I have multiple clarinets and it would be handy to have a compact case with accessories (cleaning swabs, screwdriver, etc.) that I could carry with me.While there are some items that I liked, I was a bit disappointed. First off, the screwdriver was missing from the kit. The bristles on the mouthpiece brush and bore brush are too stiff to be usable on a clarinet. Perhaps they'd be okay on a saxophone or trumpet, but they would scratch a wooden and maybe even a plastic clarinet. The thumb rest cushions are okay, but fit only one of my clarinets (a student model).The clarinet swab and polishing cloth are nice. The swab is microfiber and doesn't get stuck in the bore as some others do. The cork grease is decent quality and the mouthpiece pads are a good thickness. The 'reed boxes' are okay, especially for students who don't use expensive reeds.Will I use the items in the kit? Some of them, yes. Is this something I would pay for? Probably not. But for a beginning clarinet player, many of the items are a good value for the money.

This is a nice, complete kit for caring for a clarinet, that comes in a very portable, smart carrying case. It's a generous amount of cork grease that seems to work well, and the cleaning clothes are just the right size and type for a clarinet. I especially appreciate the reed carrying cases, which most cleaning kits don't seem to include. It can be hard to get everything back in, but since you probably don't need to carry the gloves all the time, that gives you a little room to squeeze everything back in after use, just make sure to dry the pieces. Excellent kit if you own a clarinet, or gift to a musician.

My daughter is in band and this has been great and easy for her to carry to/from school to use as needed. Getting her to use it, however, is another story. ugggggg kids. The case is nice though and it really does have everything you need.
