The Citadel Spray Primer is a bit pricey, but very good product for model making/painting. I use it for my Warhammer 40k Space Marines models with the undercoat and base, which saves me time. I've included photos of the before and after with the product.

Good product, decent spray paint, goes on very thin and sticks well to a primed miniature. However, it’s not worth the 28$ I had to pay. And this product is paint NOT primer. Also it doesn’t match 100% to the pot color, it is a chase lighter. Most GW products I’m happy with, but it’s is not one of them.

Contrary to another review I read, this actually is a primer. Yes, it does have blue pigment, but the chemical formulation is exactly the same as any other primer. It works great, has a very fine mist spray to evenly coat your minis, and allows other paint to adhere very well to prevent it from rubbing off later.

This is NOT a PRIMER. Even on their website they list it as a COLOR, identical to the Macragge Blue that comes in the pots. THIS IS NOT PRIMER, it's PAINT.There's this weird bit of misinformation snaking its way through the hobby community that basecoats are primer and primers are basecoats.INCORRECTPaint is...just paint. It's pigment and a carrier medium. PRIMER, on the other hand, is pigment and carrier with RESIN that helps it adhere to surfaces. You might even hear some painters say they don't prime, they just undercoat. These are likely PAINTERS and not PLAYERS. PRIME your models, resin, plastic, or metal, to ensure grubby hands wont rub off your work. Or don't, I don't really care after all, just don't make the mistake of thinking this is a Primer when its just paint that costs more than most cancer medications.
