Great starter book for kids, makes it easy for them to learn, shows them which fingers to use and allows them to practice certain skills like how to hold your hands or play the keys softly!

I bought for my 7 year old daughter when she started piano lessons and they are perfect when you are just starting out learning! Our piano teacher recommended these books and I definitely agree!

My eldest already knows how to play some pieces but we were looking for a more structured approach with theoretical knowledge. These books are super fun for my 8year old so we just ordered the first batch for my 5 year old as well. Great! Highly recommended!👍🏼

This series is fun and interesting for young beginners. So far I have been using primer books that start with black keys and do not introduce the stave till a later stage with my kid, and I find them effective for her age (3-4) as she is able to focus more on listening and other musical details such as dynamics and articulation. Many kids can learn to read notes at this age but not so many of them enjoy looking at their books (with notes on staves) when they practise, most would rather memorize the tune and just look at their hands all the time.I am getting alot of these used books from Jenson books and they are in pretty good condition, so I highly recommend getting from this seller.

There are a whole set of books that work together to teach/learn piano. This supports the Lesson Book. In the front of the Lesson Book, it indicates which pages of which books work together to introduce a concept. I would also highly recommend going to the website for Piano Adventures. It outlines well how this series works and what to purchase. After using the series for a few months to teach my son how to play piano, I think it is a good guide. I don't follow every thing. I use the concept they are introducing and pick out the parts I think will work for my purpose. I do feel like I'm juggling by going between all the books. I use the Lesson, Technique/Artistry, Theory and Performance books.
