We used this product years on our 12-13’ Christmas trees. Still anchored the tree to the wall after our cat climbed the tree one year and tipped it over. If no cats, it should be fine!

Purchased one of the about a decade ago and then donated it last year (not the greatest idea 😉). Tried the hardware stores for a replacement but everything is made in PRC. Discovered that Cinco is about the only tree stand that is made in the USA, so we bought two (8’ & 12’) to support the company.Super easy to insert the tree and then adjust the four screws to support and align the tree. Once everything is tight, the tree is super stable and the stand holds a lot of water to keep the tree hydrated.Thank you Cinco for making a quality product that’s still made in America!!! 👍😎

One of the screws was stripped, making the stand unable to hold up the tree.

We have a 12ft tree so needed a sturdy stand and this fits the bill. The screws were initially a bit of a struggle but not sure if it was actually the screws or size of the tree. It held the tree afterwards without issue.

I've owned the C-144 and the smaller version previously and have been extremely satisfied. Holds a tremendous amount of water and the design allows for retaining lower branches around the screws. Very stable. We upgraded to the larger size for getting taller trees. The stand is designed for 12 foot trees and accommodates a plywood base to increase sturdiness. We've regularly used it for 13-16 foot trees and felt comfortable with the stability.

Wider footprint = more sturdiness. Point at the bottom for positioning then tighten down. Quick release for clean up is great! Well worth the investment.

Even if 3 cats jump into the Christmas tree at the same time I cannot imagine the tree will even move if placed in this tree stand. Very sturdy. Also large enough for watering and keeping the tree fresh. There is nothing I do not like about this product.

All plastic tree stands intended for natural (i.e. watered) trees have the follow problem: For a natural tree to remain upright as it gains weight through water absorption and decorating, two structural conditions in the stand design are required: 1) strong screw clamps or bolts 2) some way to absolutely prevent the tree stump bottom from moving in any direction. We changed from our old dependable cast iron stand to this model. Unfortunately, the little nails in the bottom of the stand deformed and the fully decorated tree fell over breaking a lot of vintage glass ornaments. Plus all the water spilled on the wood floor. The cast iron stands are better in every respect except they don't hold enough water (a minor inconvenience when compared to water on the floor) and they all need the following modification: Drill a 3/8" hole in the bottom of the stand. Put a 2" X 3/8 bolt through this hole so the thread end sticks up through the stand bottom, add a washer and nut and tighten securely. Add silicone caulk liberally all round the nut and washer to prevent leaks. To prep the tree, drill a 1/2" hole centered in the bottom of the stump. When you put the tree in the stand, the hole in the stump will drop down over the bolt in the stand. Now, when the top bolts are tightened, the tree cannot fall over in the stand. And the stand is heavy enough to hold up any tree up to 8 feet. Far as I can see from the Amazon pictures, you can't do this bolt trick with any of the plastic stands. The bolt would either bend over or rip out of the bottom. And if you try to hammer the little pins into the tree trunk bottom, the bottom of the stand will crack. A bad design all around.
