AVOID THIS PRODUCT! Don't be fooled by the sleek looks and high price point...it is not a quality product. I was so excited to get this because it looks nice and had a decent rating. Unfortunately after one use, it is rusted inside. It clearly is not stainless steel and the "best" coating clearly doesn't work despite the "high-tech" production.

This has a Scandinavian look which is nice - real blond-colored wood (resembles but make no promises to be beech wood) and grey-painted (not stainless-steel) metal. The model I got has four legs that assemble in a cross, with a metal cup in the middle. Main attraction is that it disassembles for easy storage in a rectangular box, unlike the standard, cheaper, round, plastic, tub-like tree stand, that rolls around in storage and can't really be stacked. I got the one for 4-6 foot live trees. Please pay attention to this aspect because this size won't be safe for a tree that is 7-8 feet tall - the legs won't be long enough to prevent toppling. Although Scandinavian in look, this stand was probably NOT made in the West. It is pricey. However, quality is reasonably good and more importantly, it works as advertised. You can assemble it quickly and easily without additional tools, as everything is provided. Do not fill the water in the metal cup to the level where it reaches the screw holes in the metal cup, otherwise you might risk a leak. The only drawback: I can't see where the water level is since the metal cup is opaque. As you fill it with water, you have to put your fingers in the cup to feel where the water has reached. Would be great if the metal cup had a window showing water level. As the metal cup is quite small, I have to top up with water every 1-2 days. Of course this depends on how dry your environment is.

This tree stand not only is water-tight (and holds a good amount of water), it’s also absolutely beautiful!! There’s no need for a tree skirt or tree collar with this stand.

Easy to use and isn’t as big and awkward as the typical green plastic tree holder. I like the design.

Beautiful stand - but one of our screws (part H) is not milled right and won’t attach.Hoping the seller will see this and reach out with a replacement part!

Perfect Xmas tree stand. It arrived well packed in a timely manner , well before we needed it. The base is lovely blond wood assembled by fitting together the two “legs” crosswise. Our 6 ft tree is securely supported and was easy to mount in the stand by drilling a small hole in the flat cut base which slides over the peg sticking up from the center of the white metal water trough. The 4 securing screws are easy to use too. The entire base can be de-assembled for storage in the box it arrives in. Highly recommend it.

First time ever having a real tree. This stand was very appealing in its looks, and was really easy to install and level the tree we picked. Only thing to learn with filling it up is to not fill the cup too full or the water leaks out from where the bolts are. Would buy this again if presented the opportunity.

Je cherchais une base pour éviter d'avoir à décorer le bas du sapin, je suis vraiment satisfaite!Les vis ne sont pas les plus faciles à installer mais ça se fait!

When I read some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant until I looked at other more expensive stands. First, I ordered it, here the next day. Second, EASILY ASSEMBLED! My 10yr old daughter, could put it together in 5 minutes or less! SERIOUSLY! Third, drill hole in the center of the flat, clean/fresh cut tree base. Forth, by myself, I put the base of the tree into the the steel canister, the nail from the cylinder inserts into the pre drilled hole, from step three. Fifth, torque down all four of the bolts, once it's holding the tree in place, you can adjust the tree until perfectly plumb. Sixth, cut string, let tree open up, fill canister with 2 parts water to 1 part Sprite soda. Tree base easily slides on carpet. Kit comes with felt sliders for hard surfaces. If you've read this, order the tree stand, and if you have any problems assembling this, you should never, ever, try to do anything mechanical! Really! I am real, and I am the toughest critic of junk products, rest assured, and be confident about buying this product. Merry Christmas! Our Savior is born!

I like the simple design of this tree stand. It is well made and easy to put together. The stand consists of four wooden legs, which are very simple and modern looking, and a metal cup where the tree goes. It comes in a white finish, which I got, and a metal stainless steel looking finish. There's a spike where you can center your pre-drilled tree in the cup. It's not a very large as the bulk of support will come from the four unusual screws and nuts. the spike is just there to help center the tree.there are four bolts with washers used to attach the four legs to the cup, as well as four unique bolts with nuts that are used to secure the tree. The unique bolts are threaded, about 4" long, with a flattened "y" shaped end which is about 2" across. This unusual end makes it very easy to tighten and loosen the screws even when the tree is in place. The bolts also have unusual nuts that screw onto the end that's inside the cup. They are round and look a little like sockets from a wrench set. They are designed with one end that's wider than the other, it has striations on it that will help it grip better, and it just screws onto the end of each of the four long bolts. One thing I noticed about the nuts is that they allow the long screw to thread all the way through them, I'm not sure if this design was made because it helps secure the tree better, or is just a by product of the way it's made, but I thought it was worth mentioning all the same. The instructions are clear enough, but I think there could be some improvement. They stylized way they're drawn makes some of the steps less clear than they have to be. Nothing that would prevent you from getting the stand together, but it's attempt to make the instructions universal have resulted in them being less clear. For example the four washers that come with the stand aren't on the drawn instructions at all. These are pretty small issues to be honest, and they could all be cleared up by tweeking the instructions just a tiny bit. There is nothing wrong with any of the components of this stand, it is well designed, and looks great. I can't wait to use it for Christmas.
