Great product when you have toddlers in the home. Keeps them from grabbing the ornaments. And the family loves seeing all the special ornaments as they go around.

This seems like a great, heavy duty rotating tree stand, but even with the three different adapters, my tree didn't fit. I will use it on my tree at work, but I really wanted this for my main tree at home.

We have purchased 3 rotating tree stnads this season for different trees around the house, and this is definitely my favorite - and the cheapest we've purchased! It operates smoothly and comes with size adapters to accomodate the proper width of your tree. The most crucial parts to me, though, are the cord included in the stand's base that you can use to power your lights, and the actually the on-off switch. The outlet on the cord is important becuase it hangs off the stand instead of being physically integrated into the base. The trees that have outlets inegrated into the base are NOT big enough to use something like Twinkly lights which have large power plugs, it HAS to be outlets that hang like this product. And then the on/off switch here is a positional on/off that you have to physically push up or down into the on or off position. This is great because you can leave it in the on position and use a smart outlet that you provide yourself to toggle the tree on and off. Other tree stands that have more digital, one-press buttons that toggle on/off will NOT work with smart outlets because when power is cut to the unit and then restored, it still needs to be physically pushed to power the stand. So this specific product may seem lower tech, but is actually just what you want if you like automation.
