A little thinner than I anticipated but seems to work great! I actually sewed these to the back of cloth to make my own so it worked out!

These blackout curtain liners work!! We have white & beige "blackout"/"room darkening" curtains because they match the best with the colors in our house. While they did work in "darkening" the room, they most certainly were NOT blackout curtains. While I didn't want to have to change curtains completely, I also didn't want to have to purchase additional blackout fabric to sew onto the back of the curtains either. To be honest, I didn't even know that blackout curtain liners were a thing, haha.Anywho, I saw these and wanted to give them a try! They DO work!! They are lightweight, grayish in color, and the backside of them is black, which I guess makes sense for them being "blackout curtain liners". They are super easy to install, with the loops on the liners and the hooks provided. There's also 2 extra hooks included, I suppose for the "just in case" you lose one or break one. However, the material is a little bit thinner than I expected and the black side kinda reminds me of "trash bag" material (the only reason I knocked a star off).Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these blackout curtain liners. As you can see in my pictures, they do live up to their description and their name. For the price of what you get, these are an effective and inexpensive way to really get "true blackout curtains" without spending a ton on "nice" blackout curtains.

These blackout liners are exactly what I wanted. They perform, measure and are constructed exactly as described. The low rating reviewer admittedly didn't read the product description, and misaligned expectations. Read on for an accurate and complete review. My neighbors installed perimeter fence lights to spot coyotes/keep their small dogs safe night. My sheer bedroom drapes combined with a semi-sheer blind no longer block enough light. These liners solved that without negatively impacting appearance. What I like about these liners:1. Block light very well. See photo of one side with, the other side without liner.2. Minimal thickness. Drapes fold open nearly as compactly as without the liners, unlike heavy liners/drapes that balloon out awkwardly like a bad 1950's prom dress. See photo with drapes open, liner installed on the left, not installed on the right.3. The light gray color doesn't negatively change my sheer tan drape color. It is a bit more cool-tone tan, which also compliments the light blue accent colors in the room.4. Robust stitching and hardware.5. Easy and intuitive to install.6. Excellent value. Much less expensive than replacing existing drapes or blinds with blackout versions. That said, these liners aren't for every situation. For those who close drapes during the day AND have transparent drapes, meaning you can't install the black layer against the drape because it will either significantly darken the drape color AND you can neither tolerate the black layer facing outside absorbing solar heat gain, or don't want a black-hole appearance from the outside of the house: Choose a liner with the blackout layer sandwiched between two light colored layers. Expect to pay more for the third layer and accept more bulk. But these liners are perfect for my always-open during the day, compact drape-open appearance criteria, and a great value. I'm glad I ordered them, and recommend them.

I was struggling with sunlight streaming through my bedroom curtains every morning, making it impossible to sleep in. These $12 Chyhomenyc 100% blackout curtain liners? They've been a lifesaver! They're thin, lightweight, and they actually block out all the light.**The "Bright" Points:*** **Total Blackout:** These liners truly live up to their name. They block out 100% of the light, creating a wonderfully dark room for sleeping in or watching movies.* **Easy Installation:** They were super easy to install. The included rings make it simple to attach them to my existing curtains.* **Thin and Lightweight:** They're surprisingly thin and lightweight, so they don't add any bulk or weight to my curtains.* **Affordable:** $12 for a 2-pack is a great deal. They're a cost-effective way to transform your curtains into blackout curtains.**The "Dim" Points:*** **Slightly Sheer:** While they block out light, they are a bit sheer. If you're looking for complete privacy, you might want to consider thicker liners.* **Not the Most Durable:** The material feels a bit delicate. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to frequent washing or rough handling.* **Can Wrinkle Easily:** They arrived with some wrinkles from being folded in the packaging.* **Limited Color Options:** They're only available in greyish white. More color options would be nice.Overall, I'm really happy with these Chyhomenyc blackout curtain liners. They've made a huge difference in my bedroom, allowing me to sleep in and enjoy a truly dark space. While they have a few minor drawbacks, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. If you're looking for an affordable and effective way to block out light, I highly recommend giving these a try.
