The new CP74 Series has been designed to optimize productivity and operator comfort. Delivering up to 20% more power than the CP91 range and with a collet design for quick and easy burr changes, the CP74 pneumatic die grinders can help optimize productivity in metal fabrication applications, as well as vehicle servicing and repair. Spindle lock system: The CP74 Series of ¼” and 6 mm pneumatic die grinders are equipped with a novel locking spindle system that makes changing the carbide burrs quicker and easier than standard die grinders needing two spanner wrenches. By removing the use of one spanner wrench operators no longer have to place the tool in a vice or between their knees, reducing production stoppage times and improving productivity. High application coverage: CP74 die grinders further contribute to operational efficiency by offering a choice of six different heads — short or long, straight or angle (120°, 90°) — to offer the best possible configuration for the application such as matching welded surface, deburring, and chamfering, etc. High comfort provided: User comfort is another key attraction of the CP74 Series. The grinder’s handles are made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR) which ensures that the operator can maintain a good surface grip. In addition, the rugged composite casing on the CP74 die grinders acts as an insulator, reducing heat transfer between the motor and the sleeve. In combination, these features ensure that the operator can work comfortably for longer. Excellent power-to-weight performance: CP74 pneumatic die grinders operate between 22,000 and 28,000 rpm depending on the model. With the smallest grinder in the series weighing just 1.1 lb. (0.5 kg) and the largest grinder 2.43 lb. (1.1 kg), these tools offer excellent power-to-weight performance. Quite, quick lock is also nice for the one time we put the ro-lock disk in. Does also have a flow control for speed.

I used this p-grinder for a month and it broke on me. I paid good money for it, but I will not buy again. I feel pretty cheated, but it is what it is.I’ve bought another p- grinder that was cheaper in cost and has lasted way longer.The angle it gives is a good idea, but it doesn’t perform.

Totally worth it! Probably gonna get the company to get a few more. Perfect angle best of both worlds ^_^ and the slide lock thing is freaking amazing, ya don't need 2 wenches to switch out tooling!?!?! @_@ 11 stars!

I've ordered 2 of these now. Both have been sent back. Both missing the same filter. Fasteners are loose. Don't bother to buy this!

Well I really liked it, but the pin underneath the trigger popped out after 4 months of use. Too bad the build quality is trash. Awfully expensive for something that breaks so soon. I'll be replacing with a different brand.

The cp7405 is a .34 hp die grinder not a 1.14 hp. I'm not too worried about it but just a heads up. Good tool anyhow

These 90 die grinder is the best Chicago pneumatic make one of the best tools ever. I also own a drill from them too and they are the best works greats. I highly recommend this die grinder and any other things they offer from these company
