Cheaply made. The handle is made to slip down onto the shaft and came apart after a couple of uses.

The overall design and most materials of this pasta fork are good, but the handle is waaaay too flexible when lifting a scoop of cooked angel hair pasta. It bends and makes the scooping and transfer difficult. Cannot recommend.

I love this spaghetti scoop! So I'd got one identical to this at Walmart I think and I LOVED it! Used it all the time for pasta, vegetables, ... you name it. One day cooking spaghetti, I was stirring the noodles I'd just put in and it snapped! It snapped around where the black meets the red.) I was so upset as it was my favorite. I went to some stores and looked for a new one but either there were little to none to choose from, or they were huge or flimsy, or they just weren't the same favorite one. So I looked it up here on Amazon and I FOUND IT!!!! HOORAY!!! It came in quickly and in perfect condition and is IDENTICAL. Not a knock-off, not flimsy, not too small or too big. It is PERFECT!I highly recommend! It does hold up well.THE ONLY REASON my previous one broke was because it was ancient lol! I'm sure I owned and used (frequently) the previous one for 6 years or more. If and when this one ever breaks in the future (I don't expect anytime soon) I WILL be searching for yet another one identical - this is how much I love it.
