I like the item, except it was damaged when shipped, and I am thinking this just might be an issue with this type of construction and not due to any specific shipping or packing damage. Different layers of dyed wood are glued together and then shaped into the utensil. Looking at this, maybe these layers are going to be chipping off in the future. I am disappointed considering the price point. PS. If the item isn't replaced I will be returning with a more negative review.

While I expected the color to fade over time, I didn't expect them to fade as fast as they have. They are very sturdy. I like the crisp edges on the spatulas. I hand wash only and do not soak in water to aid cleaning, so disappointed with the fading. Picture demonstrates differences between one used several times v. one used once or twice. I bought them for the vibrant colors.

This pasta spoon is very pretty. It definitely deserves a place on the counter where it can be seen instead of stowed away in a drawer. The "spoon" portion is much more shallow than other pasta spoons I've used, so I was concerned that it wouldn't hold much of my linguini. However, the spokes do a better job than I anticipated. This may be due to the material, since I think I have always used slippery plastic pasta spoons before.Pros:- great design, like a work of art- seems well-built / good weight in your hand (not too heavy or light)- hole in the spoon is equal to one serving of pastaCons:- not dishwasher safe (you would have to sacrifice some artistic value in order to make this dishwasher safe, so I did not detract any stars for this)Generally Pleased:- amount of cooked pasta it holds (I'm content with this, but will need to use it a few more times to be confident in this opinion)So far, I definitely recommend this pasta spoon and am considering other matching utensils to add to my crock on the kitchen counter.

I love the look of this spaghetti spoon. The tines are not as large as the nylon spaghetti spoons that I usually use, but this is definitely a higher quality. The shorter tines cause the spoon to not grab as much spaghetti, but this seems to give a bit more control over how much spaghetti is being served. It looks really nice when displayed in my utensil canister.

I received this and it was broken. The prong area chipped off. I returned it.

Did not like this at all it’s flat and I wouldn’t think it could catch the spaghetti so I do not like it and I want to return it

I really like the wooden Baltique Malta Colletion. The pieces are well made, they look impressive, and more importantly, they are functional for many uses in the kitchen. I have had many friends comment on how nice they look and they match the blue accent in my decorum. They was well and store easily. I recommend them highly.
