This press has been very versatile and has worked out really well; I bought a few 30 micron mesh bags and have used this press in the process of making oil herbal infusions, butter herbal infusions, draining chopped spinach, juice pulp, and for draining riccata for making cannoli filling. Imagine decreasing the straining time of cannoli filling from hours, to under ten minutes!

It looks flimsy but it held up very well. It cut my press time dramatically. I recovered almost all of the liquid (more than I have ever recovered with a handheld press). I was very impressed. Set up was easy. Clean up was easy. I'm very happy. It is a good product. I just wish there was a valve on the spout.

I bought this press to press olive oil. Olive oil pressing is a very, very difficult thing to do and this press did a surprisingly great job. If you are using it for the same purpose, my suggestion is to put the olive paste in nutmilk bags. The craftmanship and materials used solid. I was looking for flex or stress at the top and joints when I was using it, and I didn’t see any. It is hard to see value in pictures, but I believe I received excellent value for the price of the unit.My only suggestion is to be patient with the pressing. Do NOT use the strength of two strong athletic teenagers to turn the knob at the top. Do keep the paste at the bottom flat and even. As you can imagine, if you don’t the plate can bend. Compound that with extraordinary strength, this happened to us. Despite our stupidity, the manufacturer exceeded my expectations in the way and speed they helped us resolve our problem. When I reached out to the manufacturer they responded the same day. Every time I responded, they responded back hours later. They sent me a tracking number for the part I needed before I even had a chance to ask.If I could give this 6 stars, I would. 5 stars for the product and an extra star for the service.

I was embarking on a new business project and this product was a major part of the process. It worked amazingly well, way better than other presses. However, my husband was helping me with the last few twists when it got harder, and the disc plate ended up bending. Keep in mind, this probably won't happen to most people as my husband is a very strong person. I was about halfway through my project and the product wasn't working as well with a curved disc. So, I decided to contact the company to see if they would send me a replacement disc so I could complete my project. They were so kind and helpful and shipped one out right away. After I saw that the USPS tracking was not updating and still said 'label created' for about a week, I contacted the company again and asked them to contact USPS which they did, but as per usual, USPS was clueless. So, they ended up shipping me another one via FedEx this time and the USPS package arrived a few days later. The other package from FedEx will probably arrive within next couple days too. But I really needed to have the project done before then. So, I'm grateful that the USPS package did show up when it did. In all, they really went above and beyond. This company is stellar and Richard was key in making this right for me. And needless to say, I will not let my husband anywhere near this product now! lol....

I made apple juice and then apple cider vinegar with the crushed fruit. Nothing wasted. Very easy to use and simple cleanup.

I like the size of this press. But there was way too much juice left in the grape mash I tried. I didn’t even attempt apples. Maybe one has to be Hercules to get enough torque on the press to get a drier mash. I do think it is well-made, and it’s all stainless. Nice super fine press bag. Just not worth the effort in my experience.

I already know about presses; had a custome made 1-ton hydraulic press with a Norwalk Juicer in the past. But guess what, if it's not convenient, you're going to hate using it. And that press along with the Norwalk juicer weighed a ton, and cleaning wasn't the easiest thing either. I got this manual press to go along with a recently acquired vacuum blender and a few nut milk strainer bags. WOW! WOW WOW! I can make most kinds of juice, PRESSED, NO PULP in about 15 minutes INCLUDING CLEANUP! This is the combo if you don't have a lot of time, plus you want really good juice. Just tonight I took a whole head of cabbage, 2 green apples, 1 lemon and made some fantastic juice from it. The press is SO EASY to use and also to clean up. Daughter came home later in the evening "I wish I had some lemonade .." ... ok, 3 apples, 2 lemons, ice, water, blend, press, DONE in like 10 minutes. A few days ago I made some almond milk the same way! Soak almonds, blend, press, done! The vacuum blender also cuts the time by over 1/2 ( but that's another review ). This press is GREAT. Works great, looks great, should last forever! A++ !

Lots of fun to press out the juice of whatever tickles your fancy. Works wonderfully, easy to clean. Kids like to ask what it is.

I love this because I press a lot of home made tinctures. I find the handle on the top can be a challenge to twist towards the end of the batch, (also my countertop is higher)... sometimes the spout is too short so it is a juggle between twisting the top, holding the container of liquid, and aiming the tube. It is manageable with a creative resourceful mind, (finding the easiest way to stack things to the best and most secure set up for your body to use press)... Another person holding something (jar, press, bowl) would be great when pressing. It has a very easy clean up, materials are very sturdy, it will last many years, gets the job done very effectively. I do not feel like it'll break when using it, I also make sure what i am tincturing is texture of a leaf, flower, or berry, etc (no twigs or roots, unless ground up well).

Not very happy. At best, it should cost 20$!The machine does the job. With some major muscle you will get The liquid out I'd say abt 95%, which is pretty efficient... again, to squeeze to crap out of it you need STRENGTH, and lots of it. Otherwise you'll leave plenty of liquid behind. The screw part that goes up and down keeps shaving black dust aka metal particles. NOT GOOD! Terrible design, can't really use in the kitchen/the countertop without hard mounting it to some surface, otherwise the machine is not stable, moves and/or tips while extracting. UGH. Sizewise it's ok for a novice or hobbyist who doesnt make more than a gallon or so. After that, it's frustrating because of the instability, the small capacity, and the fact the you feel as if you've put in a farmer's day worth of work with your arms.........Unless you're a guy, have a workshop to make your tinctures (
