Got these for a torn gastrocnemius during rehab; they provide a slight amount of support to the muscle and calf, similar to taping. The support is minor-- but it is noticeable, and does help! These are the minimum tension in mmHg that my pt recommended (i.e., 15 mmHg or more). I sized them slightly down (was on the border of large/medium according to the size chart) in order to ensure they'ed be tight enough to provide the proper support and compression.

Perfect Fit. Great value for the price. They’re not too tight which I really appreciate. The fabric is thick and warm.

These sleeves are higher quality then others I've tried. A bit thicker then most, but the material is comfortable. Never had it move or bunch up on the leg even during exercise. What I love the most is the durability. Other sleeves I've tried the stitching starts coming undone within a month, usually after the 1st wash. I put these in the washing machine and the threads have held up.

Note that these are 15-20mmHg so they provide moderate compression, perfect for supporting your calves during/after long walks, runs, or bike rides. I also wear them on long plane rides. Good quality.

I'm not entirely new to calf compression sleeves. I bought a pair of 3M Futuro compression calf sleeves (actually, two separate purchases of individually packaged compression sleeves) because I had torn a calf muscle. I wore that those compression sleeves while my calf healed. Those compression sleeves were smooth and silky on the outside, thought they also felt pretty thin, which wasn't an issue. The main thing that bothered me was that they cost about $10/sleeve (or $20/pair).The Charmking compression sleeves, however, are less expensive. These cost $15 for three pairs (or $2.50 per sleeve). That said, the Charmking compression sleeves feel thicker and rougher than my 3M ones. Instead of being smooth (on the outside), they're ridged vertically, which allows for better expansion (but may possibly result in less compression). Also, because they're thicker, they're warmer. Additionally, the Charmking compression sleeves almost feel like they're made from cotton, even though the sales page listed the compression sleeves as being made from nylon and spandex. Still, I would recommend wearing these compression sleeves more for cooler weather than for warmer weather. (Though, these sleeves should not take the place of thermal undergarments for those in truly cold climes, like along the lakeshore in Chicago in the middle of winter.)I got the L/XL, as my calf measures 19" at the widest. The compression sleeves fit and seem to provide some support. The chart provided in the images on the Charmking compression sleeves page also suggests that 19" is the max for size L/XL calf sleeves. Basically, the size guide seems accurate (at least for my calves). All in all, I would rate these sleeves pretty highly. Not only do they seem to provide some support for my calves, they provide a little extra warmth (which is welcome in the winter), and they're reasonably priced.10/10 would recommend.

These sleeves are quite long and are pretty comfortable to wear. Material is soft and provides a good amount of compression for the wide range that the size apparently spans (my calf has an 18" circumference) and this isn't restrictive-tight, but it's quite snug.Love the solid colour (beige) that sorta matches my skin tone, so I can wear this with shorts. Ok, I'm generally in long pants so it doesn't show, but if I wear long socks for work I can be in shorts with this under and not have to deal with a full sock or partial-foot covering.I tore my calf muscle last year and wear compression socks/calf sleeves regularly to provide extra support. These are great for running/walking to ease muscle overuse and definitely keep the calves happy. I could see even going smaller for extra support, but it might cut off some circulation, so order true to size, unless you're at the bottom range of the L/XL and don't want a snug fit.
