Charmingwater Motion Automatic Sensor Faucet

Automatic bathroom faucet: The chrome vanity faucet is automatically turned on and off by sensor. Totally touchless faucet.
Temperature adjustable: Cold and hot hose, temperature mixer are included. You can adjust water temperature by the temperature mixer as per your preference.
Battery Type: AA X 4, Alkaline Battery (Not included). Be used in bathroom. Alkaline batteries have a longer life.
Installation Type: Deck mount Installation. Easy installation with diagram. Please see the picture.

Installation Steps:
1. Disassemble the old water faucet.
2. Before installing a new faucet, please turn on the water pipe and let the water flow for a few minutes.
3. After closing the water pipe, place the new faucet body on the sink.
4. Please first install 4pcs AA alkaline batteries on the white box before fixing it on the wall.
5.Please connect the 3 hoses or power cords on the corresponding accessories (please see the installation video).
6. Turn on the water pipe switch again and place your hand in front of the sensor window to test whether the faucet is working properly.

I am thrilled with my purchase of this faucet. It was a bit on the pricey side, but the craftsmanship is impressive, and it looks freat, which is perfect for my powder room. I encountered a minor issue during installation, but the company was quick to provide assistance and resolve the problem. As long as you carefully review the user manual, installation videos, and instructions, it should be a breeze to install.If this is your first time installing a sensor faucet, hopefully these tips will help you.1. Make sure to close the hot and cold valves before installation. Only open them after all the accessories and batteries are properly attached. Otherwise, the faucet will keep dripping water.2. You don't need to fully open the hot and cold valves, just open them to the desired flow rate, thus preventing excessive water waste.3. Since the temperature valve is installed under the sink, I would adjust the temperature valve to control the faucet's suitable temperature and water volume before installation.4. No need for power connections! After installing all the accessories, simply insert 4 AA batteries into the white box, and it's ready!5. I accidentally installed the temperature valve and power cord in the wrong positions. Rember the correct installation positions for each accessory during the setup process. Otherwise, the faucet will work in reverse, with water flowing when your hand is away and stopping when your hand is near.Since our grandchild loves playing with water, the automatic touchless feature only works when your hand is directly in front of the faucet. It turns on and off instantly, so there's no need to worry about the kids forgetting to close the faucet. It's a fantastic feature. The motion sensor works well, and so far, my family is very satisfied. If there are any changes, I will update this review.Hope you find this helpful

I have used these faucets in the building I take care of and I'm pretty satisfied with it overall. After about 2 to 3 years however, a few of them (I bought around fifty of them, and so far 4 of them had to be replaced) developed problems with the motion sensor. Also, batteries seem to be draining too fast in some of them, for some reason. Overall, an excellent product for the price.***(update)**** we are replacing them at a faster rate than before... seems to be related to the amount of time they are used, the ones that are not used often are still working fine after 4 years but the ones used often require battery changes almost every 1 to 2 months. After a while, even the battery change doesn't work and we end up replacing the faucet.

Find a better quality brand in my opinion.I think the solenoid inside the automatic box broke. I had it less than a year till it lost all water pressure. I have confirmed cold and hot water lines flow well. I also got a new hot/cold mixer valve before realizing both of them also allow flow of water at a reasonable rate.Finally, I replaced the batteries and it still stops flowing after a few seconds of a trickle. I concluded that it must be the solenoid/mechanism inside the box that is triggered by the sensor. I am no plumber or mechanical engineer (but a computer eng that I hope did not forget something obvious).When inspecting the box (see picture), I noticed there are some holes with deep recessed screws, but I did not have anything long enough to get to them to try opening it up to check. The water line to the faucet os also clear and the aerator is not clogged (still hardly a trickle).I am not sure if it is normal for these to get clogged with hard water(I did not notice any signs), but I am not sure if I want to bother to take this apart every 10 months. We bought and installed this product end of March 2022. It is now Jan 2023.My plan is to look at other brands and also to get a long skinny screw driver just in case for future projects.
