This is super durable and heavy gage stainless steel. If you have a stove that is capable of using one of these I recommend it. Works great as a second burn to help with the smoke from getting away from you and upsetting your neighbors. Grab one or more if you have a 7 inch stove.

Got this little cap for oneofour of solo tabletop fire pits and wow, what a difference! The flames are so much more concentrated and mesmerizing - it's like watching a tiny campfire dance. The second burning feature really does cut down on smoke, which is great since I mainly use it for camping or patio events. Now the reduction ring could fit better imo sinceit slides around easilyIt can get extremely hot (obviously) so you need to wait quite a while before handling it after use, and it takes some trial and error to find the perfect positioning for the best flame effect.Overall though, this is exactly what my little fire pit needed. The stainless steel construction feels solid, it's easy to pop on and off, and it truly delivers on the smokeless promise. Definitely makes those chilly evening hangouts more enjoyable! It doesnt work with our heat deflector though i may be able to modify one to work maybe increasing the effective heat.

I have a mini solo stove clone and this is a nice topper to get a little more heat going. The stove works great and I can get some secondary burning going just in the top of the pit. Once I really get a hot fire going I can pop this on and it really kicks off. You can see the air starting to ignite as it passes the top holes. This thing does work but the top focus ring is odd and not really necessary. Also this takes some time to get used to using. You need to start up the fire without it at first and get it hot enough before this will actually work, otherwise it will just smother the fire. Takes on a nice patina after being heated a few times.

Not much to say about this. It's a nice secondary burn cap for your Mesa XL tabletop fire pit.. It's well made, and the material is on par, if not a bit heavier than the stainless in the Mesa. Overall, a nice addition to your tabletop pit.

This looked interesting so I purchased one to try out for members of my Facebook Group. This Fire Pit Cap is a great addition to my Mesa XL. It provides room for a lot more wood, which leads to a longer burn time without having to add more wood. The higher flames is mesmerizing to watch and I believe it puts out additional heat. I'm considering including this item in one of my group giveaways.

I've done four burns with this thing and I have not once seen a secondary burn, using a 7" generic pit with pellets. The main dome piece with the vents fits perfectly, but the flimsy top piece just sits very loosely on top and I feel like I should just discard it, as it doesn't fit and just looks janky.First picture is with the entire product installed, and the second pic is with it removed, maybe 15 seconds later, and you see the fire is loose and much more uncontrolled. Maybe it heats better that way, I don't know, but it doesn't look as cool as with the cap on, but that last top piece is so poorly integrated, but it is a small diameter hole and keeps the flame tight. I don't love this for function, but yeah, flame does look a bit better
