Everything about it was perfect - EXCEPT that the Velcro doesn't reach to the other side!! I'm A man but I bought the medium size. It is the right size for me - but ONLY by height!The company is stupid for not using an overly long Velcro closer and letting the customer trim it to their length! If the company had, I would have bought more

I have a broken neck (my C1 and C2) and have been in a hard neck brace for 7 months. I just got permission to move to a “soft” brace, but I still have a broken neck, so it has to be a sturdy soft brace. That’s where I’m coming from. I ordered 3 different braces so I could try them out because you cannot tell from the descriptions which ones are what I would call a “real” brace. Nobody on here mentions a broken neck. It’s like the three bears. One collar was too soft (the Velpeau), one collar was too big (the Nimood) and one was just right. Like most of the collars on here, they only offer medium or large size, so I ordered a medium. I have a short neck (but rather stout for being 5’ tall). If you can easily tuck your neck into the bottom of the brace and you can't get it tight enough to prevent that, the brace is not holding your neck straight and it is too tall. I have a tendency to tuck my chin and this one made it much too easy. It is very sturdy, but not hard. It seems to have an extra foam layer that makes it thicker and sturdier. It would probably be great in a small with a 3" height. If you have a serious neck problem, this is the brace for you. I would consider it to be "medical grade."

It was plenty comfortable enough for sleeping.but didn’t stop me from snoring like I hoped. I snore less when by chin is tilted up to keep my throat from collapsing. UPDATE: the company did refund with no problem.

I use this neck brace to support my chin while using a cpap machine,after using chin straps with no success,so no more snoring just restful sleep,every night for the last ten months and still going,very happy and would recommend to anyone using a cpap machine,will now buy another as a spare just in case the support looses its effectiveness

I was prescribed by a Surgeon a Ossar Miami J before surgery. I paid over $600. They are here on Amazon for 69.99. It always felt like the back was shoving my head forward. I am now over 13 weeks since I broke my neck and 12 weeks after surgery. After a very bad experience with a Bone growth stimulator the back of my neck burned and the collar irritated the back of my neck badly. I ordered this collar and wore it all day. Good chin support. So far I really like it. My head aligns much better with this collar than with the Miami J. I measured 14 inches. Ordered a medium and it fits nicely.

The item sits comfortably on the neck and shoulders, important when wearing during the night, was packaged and arrived as forecast. The item was value for money and was only avaliable in Large, which suited me, this provides effective support for a 17" neck.

I have recently been having some neck/shoulder/arm pain associated with the nerves coming from the right side of my neck. The pain was a burning fire sensation all the way through my shoulder and down my right arm. I ordered this soft collar to keep my neck from shifting at night which led me to waking up with the pain. I started using this collar when I sleep and will have to say that it keeps my neck aligned to where I have not been waking up with all of the pain. I have specialty neck pillows that were supposed to work similarly, but have never gotten the same relief I have gotten wearing this collar. It works so good that I sleep with it on nightly and it makes a huge difference. I have taken naps without it on and always end up with discomfort when I wake up, so have definitely made this a routine. In addition, I carry this with me and use it while traveling on a plane and it keeps my neck in better position that a neck pillow I had bought. I highly recommend this product if you are experiencing symptoms like I have been. I am no medical expert, but do know that this thing works for it’s intended purpose! Material is comfortable and cool and I do not wake up all sweaty from the collar!

Die Nackenstütze in Größe L in Grau habe ich bestellt, um meine gelegentlichen Nackenschmerzen nach einem Sportunfall zu lindern und meine Halswirbelsäule zu entlasten.Das Material der Stütze ist gut verarbeitet, und die weichen, stabilen Ränder verleihen ihr eine angenehme Haptik.Die Idee, die Halswirbelsäule zu entlasten, klingt vielversprechend, jedoch empfinde ich die Umsetzung mit dieser Halskrause als gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Tragen gestaltet sich nicht so einfach, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte.Die richtige Passform ist entscheidend, und hier liegt das Hauptproblem. Ist die Stütze zu weit, bietet sie nicht ausreichend Unterstützung, während sie in einer engeren Einstellung bei mir nicht perfekt sitzt.Trotz dieser Anfangsschwierigkeiten finde ich es angenehm, mein Kinn auf der Stütze abzulegen, was eine gewisse Entlastung für meinen Nacken bietet. Die korrekte Einstellung und Größe sind entscheidend, und die Anleitung erklärt, wie man die richtige Größe ermittelt.Allerdings ist die Anleitung ausschließlich in Englisch verfügbar, ebenso wie die Liste potenzieller unerwünschter Effekte. In meinen Augen sollte ein medizinisches Produkt, das auf dem deutschen Markt erhältlich ist, solche Informationen auch in deutscher Sprache bereitstellen.Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt mit dem Potenzial, Nackenschmerzen zu lindern. Die individuelle Passform und die Anwendung sind jedoch sehr von der jeweiligen Physiognomie abhängig und wahrscheinlich nicht für alle Anwender:innen gleichmäßig gut geeignet.

Purchased this to use along with my CPAP machine, hoping this would aid in keeping my mouth closed as I use nasal pillows rather than a full mask. I'm not sure if this would have achieved its intended purpose as I found this cervical collar extremely uncomfortable to use. I had to pull this off prior to even getting to sleep. To me it felt as though the upper edge on both sides of the collar was pinching into my Juglar Vein. Obviously, this is not what one wants to improve their sleep. With aging shoulders I also found this collar rather difficult to reach behind my neck to fasten into place. Unfortunately, the cervical collar that I have used for years is no longer available. Returned this one and will start the search again.

I got this neck support brace for night time stress relief and I wear it while sleeping. It is very easy to put on and get adjusted with the simple velcro strap in the back. It is both soft and firm in part not too much of either is what makes it a nice fit for me. The size I bought was an XL as my circumference is about 17.5 inches. I could have also bought the Large as there is a little excess on the strap but I am happy with the XL that way if I want to wear a turtleneck under it there will be plenty of room for it. The width of it is 4 inches which is fine for my neck size. It is accurate and it feels good when on. If the thickness was a little bit more that would be even better but this is not a complaint at all. I can highly recommend this product.
