My kitty is notorious for gobbling her meal down WAY too quickly, and as a result, she gets sick. This bowl has helped us tremendously! The elevated bowl + slow feeder combo has been amazing for her, and she has not been vomiting. I highly recommend this bowl, as it has been so helpful for us! It is also SUPER cute and well-made, and easy to clean. Absolutely recommend!

This is a nice slow feeder bowl however my cat really doesn't like that the bumps are too hight off the bottom of the dish. He leaves a lot of food at the bottom and I noticed that he doesn't like the porcelain tips hitting his mouth/teeth/whiskers and just refuses to eat out of it after getting to that level of the bowl. This might be better for a larger cat as mine is only 4 years old short hair. It's a nice and well made slow feeder bowl however there might be a chance that your cat wont like it and leave a bunch of food at the bottom and refuse to eat out of it until you refill it. Overall I don't recommend it.

I picked this product based on design, because it's super cute. The spikes on the inside look like a paw, there's paws around the base, little ears, and a tiny cat face. It is hefty and definitely would be difficult for a pet to move around while eating. The one issue I have is that it's very big. It's more dog-sized than cat-sized. We have a Siamese and they tend to run on the larger size, and it's still a bit big for her. The large size is why I took off a star, because it would be a bit difficult for cats to use. It's too big for kittens for sure.

This slow feeding dish is beautiful! The ceramic has a pretty design around the base and the inside bumps are smooth and rounded over. Our fat cat immediately loved it when I washed it up and put her first serving of food in it for her. She’s an older cat so I think she also likes how the dish is elevated. This dish came very well packaged. The product box had a foam insert inside and a foam topper so that no portion of the dish came in contact with the box. The box was shipped in a paper bag style mailer so it’s a good thing the product was so well packaged! The only issue I discovered after starting to use this with multiple cats is that I basically need to switch all of their food dishes over to slow feeding dishes, otherwise it is too easy for the one cat who needs this to simply eat from the easy bowls once her dish is empty.

I have 3 cats, one of which is on a diet. Of course, that cat is the fastest eater so he finishes before the others and tries to steal their food. This means I have to monitor them while they're eating - but not anymore since I got this bowl!At first I could hear my cat's teeth dinging on the bowl from him taking aggressive bites but he quickly figured out not to do that. The bowl has slowed him down a lot and I'd definitely recommend it!He hasn't puked from eating too fast since using this bowl either. And it has also solved the problem of him wandering off in the middle of his meal to try and steal from others. I'm just surprised this bowl has solved my problems with his meal times! It's very sturdy and large enough that my adult, 14-15 lb. cat can eat comfortably without it bothering his whiskers or him feeling like he's sticking his head into a small opening (which cats don't love while they're eating and more vulnerable). It came packaged well, with plenty of cushion for rough shipping.Again, I would definitely recommend this bowl!

Very nice cat bowl. The design is well thought out as it is both ergonomical and adorable! Around the base is a cute design along with the bowl itself that is in the form of a cat's face. The bowl has weight to it to prevent the bowl from tipping over. This bowl is a winner for this cat mom!

The Qcapet Ceramic Cat Slow Feeder is an excellent choice for pets prone to eating too quickly. The elevated, tilted design helps encourage a slower, more natural eating pace, which can reduce the risk of indigestion or vomiting. Its cat-shaped design adds a fun aesthetic to any pet's feeding area, while the high-quality ceramic material makes it sturdy and easy to clean. This bowl works well with both dry and wet food, providing versatility for various pet preferences. However, while the bowl is effective for slowing down feeding, it may be too shallow for larger pets or those with longer snouts. The design also requires a bit of a learning curve for pets who are accustomed to traditional feeding bowls. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall quality, functionality, and health benefits make it a great choice for pet owners looking to improve their furry friend’s eating habits.
