This car seat has been a game changer. It has grown with our child and has been super easy to clean and install. It keeps her comfortable and safe. I have this car seat and so does my sister and parents. It has worked that well.

Great car seat for the price! Easy to install or move to another car, recommended by my favorite car seat educator, and affordable! Only downside is that the rear facing weight limit is 40# so we’ll probably buy something different once our kiddo maxes that out because we want to keep him rear facing as long as possible. Durable though so we’ll have no problem passing it down to his younger sibling.

This car seat is solid (great styling, well constructed, easy to install, cup holders a bonus) and it’s priced so well we were able to buy 3 for each of the relevant vehicles. I hate wasting money (in this case hundreds of dollars) for a specific brand name (you’re paying for marketing and falling into the consumer trap) when the generic item is almost exactly the same item. No one needs to pay $500 for a car seat, when the same safety features are available at 1/4 to 1/5 the cost. Plus the bonus is that the baby absolutely loves it (so much better than trying to lay an active 20-lb 8-mo old on their back like a newborn). Highly recommended! 5-stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BUY IT!

Century is a brand I have been familiar with since my children were babies. So when my grandson graduated from a rear facing baby seat, I knew we all wanted him to ride in a comfortable, safe, good quality front facing seat.I ordered two of these car seats to start with. They are appropriate for both front facing and rear facing set up. They arrived set up for rear facing use. I checked everything out carefully to make sure this was good enough for my most precious cargo. After NOT reading the instructions properly, and through the ensuing trial and error, I figured out that this seat is easy to secure properly and firmly in my car. The lower anchor straps do need to be relocated for front facing use, and this is really easy! Once done, installation is quick. (Found that out the hard way of course)I love how padded and comfortable this seat is, the ease in which the shoulder straps can be adjusted by raising and lowering the headrest and will grow with my grandson, the seat recline settings, the side impact protection, the cup holders are a nice bonus too.Once I figured out that this was a great car seat, I bought my daughter and son in law one for each of their cars, then ordered a third one for my car since I'm incredibly blessed to live in the same town as my kids and grandson, and I get to grandparent him a lot while his Mum and Dad are both working.Incidentally, Century was bought out in 2000 by Graco. Now Graco makes a lower price point car seat under the brand name of Century. Century is not an unknown brand with no history, as some people believe....it's just not as ridiculously expensive as Graco branded car seats.

OK, this is one of the last things I thought I would ever do, write a review for a car seat. This is our third car seat and I wish that I had 3 of this exact one. There are 3 things that I love about this car seat, 1st the weight ranges are huge for a car seat of this price, from a very small baby to a large child, it should fit them all. Secondly, I am a man, and my average sized hand fit though the back to install the seat belt, unlike my other two car seats that are designed to only allow a small 7-year-old girls hand to pass though. Third, kids are usually small sticky messy critters, and these car seats cup holders are designed with them in mind. The cup holders are removable, but not by the child, as well as they don’t have a hole in the bottom of the cup-holder allowing for liquids or small snacks to fall though. I would buy this car seat again in a second. Everything I dislike about my other two car seats of two different brands has been thought through and fixed. I don’t think you can go wrong with this car seat.

I’ve been using Graco car seats for 15+ years. This was a change for me. I’ve read that century is owned by Graco so technically this may still be a Graco seat but there are some significant differences between this seat and the Graco Contender.Installation: century drive on does not have. Leveling ball like Graco seats do. It has a line you want to get parallel to the ground. Other than that installation is about the same as a Graco seat. Neither easier nor harder.Comfort: baby seems very comfortable in this seat. It took me some work and texting a CPST to get the best fit for this baby, she needs the infant inset in and the crotch strap in the outer position to get the best fit. Once I got that right everything is great.Cupholders: Graco contenter has one, this seat has two and they must both be installed. I noticed some reviews state that they are removable. If they are installed correctly they do not come off. Make sure you twist down and hear the click.Dimensions: this seat has a lower profile that the Graco contender, which is one of the reasons I chose this seat. It is easier to lift baby in and out of this seat because the sides don’t come up as high and the whole seat sits a little lower too.Headrest adjusting: works about the same. It’s easier for me to do one handed on the century drive on.Harness length adjusting: this is easy to reach and use rear facing with the century drive on. This is an improvement from the Graco seat which has it placed so that it’s buried against the vehicle seat back.Chest clip: the century drive on chest clip is tougher to open than graco’s. I am able to unfasten Graco’s one handed. For the century drive on I need to use both hands. It will likely get a little easier as I get used to it. I’m not sure this is a bad thing. If your toddler is forever undoing their chest clip, this might be the seat for you.Overall I am very happy with this seat. It’s quality is definitely comparable to Graco Contender. I love the colors.
