I’m not sure if it’s the tool shank or the brad point, but this bit has at least a centimeter of runout whether I run it in my lathe or drill press. Highly recommend you find a different supplier. It’s so bad I don’t feel safe using it, to say nothing of the poor quality hole that it drills.

This supposed to be a 5/8 bit but it’s larger than that. It ruined my project! I have drilled hundreds of these same holes on the same type project and worn out several bits. This one is at least an 1/8 inch larger than it should be. I will be returning it!
