Installation took about an hour, the unit works very well, my indoor signal went from one bar to 5. It's covered by a 3 year warranty which should be the standard for all. The manual is good, the only thing that didn't work was the mentioned cell tower finder so I just googled my suppliers towers, easy. Value for money

I got this for my mother in law. Her cellphone reception is not good where she lives. It works a little but most of the time it doesn't. This really helped with not dropping calls and I was able to shop and do other things while up at her house. I did not put together but someone in their 70,s did and he said it wasn't hard.

Adequate for my needs in an area appx 500 sqft. Wish the box were a lighter color so it's not so obtrusive.Set up requires running the the cable through a window or sliding door. Unfortunately the cable casing is unable to withstand this and immediately the interior wiring was exposed.

The wired cell phone signal booster has been a revelation for my home. Prior to installation, I experienced frustratingly weak signal, leading to dropped calls and slow data speeds. Now, I have a consistently strong signal even in areas that were previously dead zones. The installation process was straightforward, and the device itself is compact and unobtrusive. I appreciate its compatibility with multiple devices, ensuring everyone in my home benefits from the enhanced signal. While more detailed instructions for optimal placement could be helpful, I'm highly satisfied with the booster's performance. If you're struggling with poor cell signal at home or work, this booster is a reliable and effective solution. It's a must-have for anyone tired of dropped calls and sluggish data.Bonus: The included cable works exceptionally well with the booster, providing minimal signal attenuation over long distances. This ensures optimal performance even with extended cable runs.

The first thing I noticed was the coax cable wasn't as advertised. The photo published on Amazon at the time I ordered shows a male N connector on one side and a male SMA on the other. What I received was a cable with a male SMA on one side and a female SMA on the other configured as an SMA extension cable. There isn't much of a description of the coax cable in the Amazon advertisement not even the length. As stated above I received with a male SMA on one side and a female SMA on the other. The cable length was 16' 5" long or 5 meters long. The coax cable is labeled as 3D-FB which is a 50-ohm coax intended to operate up to 2.5 GHz. I was able to measure cable loss up to 1.5 GHz with my equipment; -0.3dB at 10 MHz, -0.4 dB at 50MHz, -0.7dB at 100MHz, -0.9 dB at 150 MHz, -1.1dB at 300MHz, -2.5 dB at 900MHz, & -3.3dB at 1500 MHz (1.5GHz). Extrapolating the curve would yield around -4dB at 2.5 GHz. All these attenuation values are greater than the 2 spec sheets I found for 3D-FB cable. Spec for 1500 MHz for the data sheets I found is -2.1dB at 5 meters. The coax cable appears to be a good quality cable. The connectors seem to be solid and well attached to the cable. If the additional attenuation meets your needs and your in need of an SMA extension cable then I would recommend if you can trust what you get. The lack of info in the product description and the fact that I received something different than what was advertised gives me reason to be concerned.

We decided to get this to help with my booster relocation or I should say lack of cell signal. It really did the trick! I am now able to use my phone everywhere in my apartment. The signal is stronger than it has ever been. I notice the difference right away not only with my calls but streaming and downloading abilities. I have not experienced any dropped calls or lags with my downloads no matter where I am in the house. It is helpful that the cord is long and flexible so if I need to move it at any point I can easily do that.

I had a more expensive signal booster that ended up being defective, so I’ve been looking for a replacement for a while. This Cell Phone Signal Booster being sold by BoostHome became available, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to give it a test. This particular unit comes with a small antenna that directly attaches to the back of the amplifier. There is also a model that has a panel antenna that allows you to mount the amplifier about 20’ from the indoor panel antenna (not sure of the cable length). I was a bit skeptical of the small antenna being effective, but it actually surprised me.In my test I made a temporary mast out of 1x6 pine that extended the outdoor antenna 19’ above the ground (about 4’ above the roofline). Then I ran the antenna cable 29’ horizontally into the house and set the amplifier on the floor.Note: manufacturer requires 10’ vertical and 20’ horizontal distance from outdoor antenna to indoor antenna. This requirement can be rather challenging in a smaller home.My tests were performed in an area where trees and tall structures are not an issue, so conditions were ideal. Trees and other obstruction can play a major part in your success. When I turned the unit on and all lights lit up as they should, these are the results:Note: Lower number = better signalWith phone at 6’ distance from amplifier UNPLUGGED – 101With phone at 6’ distance from amplifier ON – 73 (gain of 28)With phone at 34’ (line of sight) distance from amplifier UNPLUGGED – 104With phone at 34’ (line of sight) distance from amplifier ON -91 (gain of 13)Those are really impressive numbers!I include 2 pics - 1 with the booster off, and 1 with the booster turned on. My phone is sitting on top of it with the Network Cell Info Lite app showing the difference in signal strength. On the Verizon network, which prioritizes channel 4 towers, that particular tower is 4.5 miles from my location and this booster does a great job amplifying that signal.I tested the booster over a 26 hour period, thru some inclement weather, and it performed flawlessly. In fact, I was so impressed with the performance and $39.99 price that I went ahead and ordered a second unit for another home. This booster is manufactured by SZZ Technology, which supplies a website and email address in the manual. A word of caution: Their website does NOT exist and neither do they answer emails from that address. Any warranty issues need to be directed to the seller. In summary:-This unit performed great in my test under ideal conditions. Trees and other obstructions could greatly hinder your performance.-Impressive line of sight indoor amplification-Do not expect help from the manufacturer.-I recommend this as a very good value for a cell phone booster.I deducted 1 star due to zero manufacturer support.
