Worked but not without modifying the holder first. The metal tab that holds the housing in place has a large gap. Shaved down the holder/plastic for a tighter fit. Trying to tighten them just separates the solder joints. Used on the clock light for my E36

could rate this item a ZERO I would… complete JUNKDO NOT PURCHASE…. made the mistake of believing what was advertised not often misled and lied to by Amazon sold product . Bought for BMW Z3 dash cluster lighting… these do not even hold together when inserting onto the PCB which is the gauge cluster. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY…

DOnt fall prey to the other reviews. First if you have never replaced these kinds of lamps you probably didn't know you needed to use a gauge to set the depth and space on the tabs.

They work but tricky, tricky! This is my 2003, Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. You can see the original 3, burnt out bulbs for my climate control panel. I tried to install the new bulbs with a small, narrow blade screwdriver in the slot provided but they did not want to insert into the circuit board and when I finally forced them in, they did not work. When I removed them, I discovered that I lost one of the bulbs. Bulbs are easily removed from the plastic holder. Probably fell out in the panel never to be retrieved. One down. On close study, (notice the bulb on its side in the picture) there are 4 tang arms, two each side, high and low and I am guessing that as you push the bulb in the card, the top tangs are designed to bend down and make contact with the lower ones. A guess. I highly recommend using a small ¼ inch socket and drive bar to insert them. The screwdriver slot method does not give you much control. The socket lets you line them up straight, twist with light pressure and they will drop in evenly and then twist ( I had the cable connectors still connected and the truck light switch on) until they light up. See new bulbs installed. As you may be aware, removing this climate control panel is easy. I will attempt to do the instrument cluster on another day. Lots of help on YouTube to remove these panels. Almost forgot. Surprise! They do dim with the light switch dimmer control.

Bought 30. Some arrive broken, others will break upon install. The ones that made it to the gauge cluster aren't really doing much of anything to be honest. Gauges are just as dim as before. Those little tips that pop out are so fragile it will snap off if you breathe next to it. Quality does not seem that good and I am not even sure if these are actually LEDs. Do not recommend. I will probably be putting back my original bulbs into my gauge cluster.

good quality, bright, weak tabs then some other ones I have bought... not recommend unless your unit is super easy to access and twist...

Bought these lights for a 98 Mercedes Benz and it did not fit. None of the 20 PIECES that I ordered fit! Poor design. The metal ears that make the connection broke easily. This is not a plug and play light. Will have to do some troublesome fitting to make work. Maybe you’ll make 2 out of the 10 work because I’m taking into account how many you’ll break. I’m not joking. Not worth the trouble. Go with the original OSRAM light.

They are not a good fit in my Saturn Vue. You have to bend the contact tabs down quite far hoping not to break them off. Brightness is ok, but not great. Would give them 2 stars, but the price is cheap-o and they are working at least.
