Not happy with these - I purchased them for my 2005 TJ Jeep and I could not get them to work. No fault of the product I am sure. Can not rate them because I am not using them ! !

Purchased to replace incandescent bulb #24 instrument cluster speedo gauge lights on a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. These fit right into the factor bulb socket and stay in place well. The factory bulbs are fairly dim due to the green rubber cover/sleeve/condom over them. These LED replacements are close to the original light output (slightly brighter), but not overly bright. Downside is the uneven distribution of the LED light. It results in what others called "hot spots" which are brighter. While there are alternative T5 bulbs that are with multiple LEDs giving 270 or 360 degree light patterns, they are all very bright - 200-300 lumens. If you dim them, then you end up making the other dash lights/HVAC controls way too dark.

My turn signals in my Toyota Tercel are now so bright that you KNOW you are turning left. If you are worried about the brightness of these bulbs, don't worry, these will be plenty bright enough for you.

They work great and they are bright. Longevity idk yet. In time I'll update they longevity part. They show you to disconnect your negative battery terminal to replace these. It much easier with the battery hooked up to test each bulb. I did find that the little contact wires need to be bent outwards or the little plastic bulb seats will push the wire inwards and won't make contact. Took me a little bit of tinkering to figure out why I had no lights. Not a big deal in my opinion. But that was on my 07 F150. Maybe not all years and models are like that.

I purchased these to upgrade some of the dash lights in my 1995 Mitsubishi Mighty Max. I found the overall build quality very good compared to other LED bulbs I have purchased in the past from other manufacturers. The three bulbs I replaced were the cigarette lighter, ashtray, and heater control bulbs. I found the brightness of these bulbs to be far superior to the stock incandescent bulbs, and the green color was not as bothersome as the original clear bulbs. My only advice to some of the negative comments regarding these bulbs is this: KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING, and do some research. LED lighting is highly directional: the light beam is narrow, and these bulbs project the light only from the top flat surface of the LED itself. You need to check your specific application to make sure the light dispersal pattern is right for you. In the case of my cigarette lighter and ashtray lights, the sockets are angled and point the light at that angle, and was perfect. In my heater control panel, the bulb inserts straight into the back of the panel itself, and thus the light only projects straight forward at the panel and leaves some areas very dim. I knew this would be the result prior to ordering, but I'm guessing most customers did not know about this.Overall, I am impressed with the vibrant green color, and the light output is bright enough without being overpowering. If you have a similar installation as I did with the heater control panel, your best bet would be to find a round-tipped LED bulb that is designed to project light in several directions.

When I installed these in my speedometer cluster it created some spots which are lit up well and some that are completely dark. The light just doesn't spread out enough to give you a good look on your dash. I will be buying new lights and throwing these in the trash.
