My brother and I have two cats they are siblings! We adopted them after their owner, had to move and couldn’t take them! My brother and I are both older and the male cat just seems like he’s highly moving and he’s gaining a lot of weight! His sister, of course is the same age and she’s like half his size because she moves around and he does not! So I’ve been looking online at Amazon at different things to entertain the cats! And I did see products that were similar to this one to help get your cats moving and having fun! But the reviews were not good! So kind of gave up and then I went back and started looking again because the male cat is just getting worse and worse! So I read a review on one of them that I had read before and they said that they have changed them some things to make it better and they explained it! But What really got me was reading a review from women who had had another one in the past and now she tried this one! And they do say on the product and this consumer said yeah, they recently improved it! Well, this user settled this in her review and I decided to try one! And they even offer you a good deal if you don’t like it because they have improved it so much that they know people are gonna like it! Well, our big cat Was getting so lazy so he laid there without doing too much when it was on, but he did a little bit and I was happy about that but his sister was all over the place that light! And within a couple days Max started Playing with it more and more! So I think it was about a week after we got it. He actually found Amazon box. I hadn’t put away yet. It’s a pretty big box. He actually got in that box not just once but several times & he goes after the light! Not as much as his sister does, but he still does and he still now moving a lot more! It might be a little over a week now I’m not sure but I think that amount of time that’s pretty good progress! And I think he’ll be losing weight and hopefully getting a lot more healthy because he still likes that light! And he’s just a lot more active! It has been making me cry, happy tears because I didn’t want him to die from not moving enough! I just praise that lady that caves that good review and it is so true! And you can even plug it in and not use batteries. I haven’t used one battery in it. We just plug it in and charge it or you could leave it plugged in all the time, I think! Do whatever is safest, but this will really help your kitties getting better shape or stay in better shape!

I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to buy this or not. So many out there selling garbage to make a buck.Honestly in my opinion this product really is pretty decent. My cat loves it. I love that it helps entertain him while I'm at work so it's not so bad for him.It's affordable, easy to charge using a standard C cable. Takes charge after charge. Grabs the pets attention.Now the only bad thing I really have to say about it.I've had mine a little while now. Multiple uses and charges.The battery really could have been bigger or better quality.It still charges, however the life span between charges was low at first use.Not to bad, I'd say 1 time every 4 days. Now it's every other day charging.It's really a shame. It really is a great product. If the battery issue was addressed it would be selling like crazy. I myself would like to have a total of 3 and 2 I'd like for friends but I don't want to deal with charging 3 constantly. Mine may be defective. If you want 1, it's good. As for me I'm going to search for something with a longer battery life.

Our two cats loved it. The motion sensor would be set off when we would be behind the unit (it was next to staircase). After 7 months the laser got off track inside the unit so it is only visible for a few seconds when it turns on then it moves and no longer is visible on the floor. Sent message to seller, will see if I hear anything.Edit - Seller got back to me quickly and said they would send me another unit. Couple days later got the new one and the cats are happy again.So I took the old one apart to see what might be the issue, the laser is on a disk that spins around via a small motor, only issue I can see is that the wires that go from the circuit board to the laser were not routed correctly and actually passed in front of the laser, which would then block the laser from getting out of the unit. Had the wire been routed around the back of the laser instead of in front of it, this problem would have been avoided.Since there are quite a few reviews about this not working after in less than a year, I'm sure they are all connect the same way inside, there is only 1 screw to remove. But was not easy to pry open once the screw was taken out, soft tap from a rubber mallet popped it right open, with no damage. Now I have two lasers. More is always better, HA HA

First thing first, my cats love it. They chase after the red dot whenever it is on.However I have the following questions about how it works.I got it a few days ago, and I let it plugged in 24/7 since. However it comes on something like every 4 hours+ instead of the stipulated 2-hour interval. And it does not come on when I move in front of it - doesn't it say it is motion-activated ? I want it to stop at night but even I unplug it, it will still turn on in that 4-hour interval.Most probably I don't use it properly - maybe someone here can enlighten me.

This toy was fantastic at the start, however after 6 weeks of use the laser has lost most of.its brightness and glitches on and off. Might have just received a faulty one but unfortunately can't return or exchange :(
