This cat tree was easy to assemble and looks lovely in my home. My kitty could hardly wait to start playing with it and tried to run off with parts before I could get it together. She loves the trackballs and plays with them throughout the day. And, of course, she likes to try to get the mouse out of the hole. She seems to enjoy the different textures as well...and it's nice that she has a choice between carpet and sisal for scratching. I like that it isn't intrusive in my living room and the top adds a bit of greenery.

In an attempt to get my cats to stop scratching furniture, I picked up this work of art. I mean look at it... It's got pretty much every little cat distraction built-in, with the faux tropical leaves providing a whimsical take on the traditional scratching post.It feels well made and was easy to put together... but I can't seem to get my cats to use it as a scratching post. They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the "particle accelerator" in the base (the balls on the track), but so far, they don't seem to be interested in it's main purpose. I'm sure your cats won't be as picky.Anyway - 4 stars for the scratching post, and 2 stars for my cats.

This is the 4th cat tree/scratching post I have bought in the last few months, and I feel confident saying my cat just isn't into them.This is a nice scratching post- it only takes about 5 minutes to set up, there's a concentric ball chasing toy at its base and a little toy mouse that sticks out of the "hollow" of the trunk. My cat did play with that- but it's only attached by a narrow piece of elastic, and I don't see it staying attached very long. The leaves are shapeable. Lightweight; easy to move around.

Over many years with cats, a cat scratching post has been a staple to keep them from scratching furniture, and most of my cats have loved scratching posts. THIS scratching post is, by far, the easiest I have ever put together. Screws fit exactly as they should for the posts, instructions are clear, and it doesn't take forever to tighten the screws for the posts. The base was the most challenging only because you have to be able to prop it on its side while tightening the base screw and washer, but it wasn't hard. I love that this has "fake" grass since my cats are attracted to grass. Grass may shed a little as you're putting it together, but just a few strands. The section for the balls fits perfectly and there is no chance that balls will get out and run loose around the house to be forever lost. The big palm leaves at the top are easy to put on and are easily bent to the angle you want. The finished product looks very nice and just exactly as pictured. It's the best scratching post I've ever had - or rather, the best my cats have ever had.

My kittens loved the various aspects of this cat scratching post/toy. Very easy to put together and the instructions (picture) was easy to follow. Well made. The added ball toy at the bottom and the top plus the hidden mouse kept the kittens entertained and coming back for more. Plastic palm leaves at the top are attractive and it you don't like them (or I was thinking they might get ratty after a while if the kittens are able to grab and chew on them), you can pull the individual leaves out as they are just poked into the top surface. Which means you can replace them with whatever suites your fancy from the craft store if needed. Well thought out product. Seems stable enough for my kittens but not sure for a big adult cat that tries to jump up on the post. If they are standing at the base and reaching up their own weight helps keeps the base stable. The post can shift/slide on a hard floor. Probably less likely on carpeting.

This is great looking and easy to assemble. The added toys around the base are nice. The only problem was that my cat was very wary to use it--it tips over so easily. If you put it up against a corner, though, it's great. One it was braced like this, the cat enjoyed scratching on it.

Okay this thing is awesome! It has so many unique features for the cat to play with and she loves it. There is a little mouse inside the tree trunk, the leaves on the top make a really great rustling sound that cats love. And the little wooden balls that come with it to go inside the track - a huge hit!! It came with 2 balls but she liked batting them around so much, I only used one ball in the track and kept one out for her to play with. It makes a lovely rolling sound when the ball goes around the track. Also! Pour a little catnip on the fake grass and the kitty will go crazy. Definitely recommend!!
